Amid the gently rolling hills of Le Marche is set Agriturismo Scala - a small-scale eco-boutique B&B where nature, simplicity, and beauty come together. In a characterful farmhouse, once a monastery, a place that exudes tranquillity has been created with attention to detail and much love.

Scala is run by a passionate family, which also produces organic olive oil here. Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do. The building has been renovated with natural, eco-friendly materials, including wooden furniture and textiles made from certified organic cotton. Everything has been chosen with care - not only beautiful, but also responsible.

The four double rooms are spacious, bright, and stylishly decorated, each with a private bathroom and views of the garden or hills. Vintage finds, soft earth tones, art on the wall, and natural materials create a warm, Mediterranean ambiance. In the morning, a homemade breakfast awaits on the terrace, with fresh bread, fruit from the garden, and homemade jams. A nice spot to start the day quietly - or fill it with idleness, reading under a tree or walking through the olive grove.

Want to go out? Then the sea and mountains are within easy reach. The sandy beaches of Porto Recanati and the rugged Conero coast are just a 10-minute drive away. If you go in the other direction, the Apennines will take you to quiet villages and green hiking trails. The surrounding area is also brimming with culture: towns such as Loreto, Recanati, and Macerata offer art, music, lively markets, and of course the pure flavours of Le Marche – a region that shows Italy at its very best.
