Dolce Mistero is a charming building with 2 apartments, situated on Lake Como. Part of a former convent, it has been beautifully restored, retaining as many of the original features as possible. As a result, both apartments have a lot of charm and character and offer an intimate retreat in this popular region. From the terrace with plunge pool or the sunny balcony, you can overlook Lake Como, the idyllic villages and the Alps surrounding it.
Alaura, the apartment for 4 persons is located on the ground floor and Ambra, the intimate apartment for 2 persons is located on the first floor. Both places are intimate, charming and invite you to sit back and relax. Inside, the old wooden ceilings and the authentic stone walls immediately catches the eye. From the cosy living rooms with comfortable sofas, you have a beautiful view of the lake. Both houses also have a well-equipped kitchen with old details. There are spacious bedrooms, furnished with antique wooden furniture, which creates a warm and romantic atmosphere. The windows between the thick old walls let in the Italian sunlight and French doors give access to the en-suite bathrooms with free-standing bathtub or shower.
Both apartments have nice outdoor spaces. At Alaura you will find a private terrace with plunge pool and lounge chairs and the smaller flat Ambra a private balcony. On your private terrace you can enjoy an al-fresco breakfast with views... there is no better way to start your day. A unique feature of Dolce Mistero is that it is very close to Lake Como. The harbour at Sala Comacina and fine restaurants are within walking distance. Here you can dine by the lake shore and watch the sun set. You should also explore the rest of the area, where you will find historical churches, ancient ruins, beautiful Italian gardens and, of course, wonderful restaurants.

The picturesque towns of Bellagio and Varenna with their winding streets can also be reached by ferry from the port.
Behind the apartments, you will find Greenway del Lago di Como, a 10 km long walking path, which runs through the green surroundings, charming villages and beautiful villas. There are also more challenging trails to be found, with paths leading steeply up into the mountains. While the view of the lake is, of course, beautiful, you can also feast your eyes on the water. You can take a boat trip or hire a boat to spot the luxurious villas along the lake. Milan and its airport, Milan-Malpensa, can be reached within 1 hour and 15 minutes and is a great destination for a day trip.

When making a reservation we ask for a deposit of 30% of the reservation sum. The remainder must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the start of the stay. When booking within the period of 6 weeks, the total reservation sum must be paid immediately. In case of cancellation more than 6 weeks before the start of the stay, 50% of the deposit will be returned. In case of cancellation within the period of 6 weeks, no refund will be made. We therefore recommend cancellation insurance
The owners ask for a deposit. 250 Euro, this amount must be transferred to Nice2stay together with the (remaining) payment of the rent. If you leave the house behind and no damage has been found, Nice2stay will refund the deposit within 14 days after departure from the house.
