Alemanys5 is every architecture lover’s dream. This beautiful 16th century building has been lovingly transformed over the years by renowned architect, Anna Noguera, into a fantastic home consisting of two separate apartments – El Jardi, the garden apartment on the 1st floor, and El Badiu, with covered terrace on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

Apartment El Jardí is located on the 1st floor and boasts an interior space of 90m2, plus an additional 95m2 of garden.

Ground floor:

• Entrance hall with lift for suitcases.
• Parking facilities for one car (available for rent at an additional cost).
• Staircase with views over the cathedral behind the house.

1st floor:

• The apartment is entered via a hallway, in which a number of practical appliances (e.g. washing machine, ironing board and iron etc.) have been cleverly concealed behind sliding steel doors.
• The hallway and two bedrooms benefit from attractive wooden floors.
• Access to both bedrooms and their corresponding bathrooms is via the hallway. The bedrooms each boast comfortable twin beds that can be joined or separated as required, and the bathrooms come with shower, washbasin and toilet.
• The hallway also provides access to the other side of the house, where there’s an open plan living / dining room. It incorporates a delightful sitting area, dining area, and an integrated kitchen that can be readily hidden from view by closing the sliding doors. After all - a tidy house is a tidy mind! Rustic stone walls, a concrete floor and tasteful decor complete the Zen-like living space. In the dining area doors open out onto the patio, whilst in the sitting area another set of doors lead to the sunny garden.
• The pretty garden is the perfect spot in which to enjoy al-fresco meals around the dining table or relax with a well-earned drink. A mature pergola provides the veranda with some welcome shade and privacy. At the end of the well-kept lawn is a small swimming pool filled with rainwater, where guests can enjoy a refreshing dip on hot sunny days.

Apartment El Badiu consists of two floor (3rd and 4th) and boasts an interior space of 180m2 Layout:

2nd floor:

• The apartment is entered via a hallway, in which a number of practical appliances (e.g. washing machine, ironing board and iron etc.) have been cleverly concealed behind sliding steel doors.
• The hallway and two bedrooms benefit from attractive wooden floors.
• Access to both bedrooms and their corresponding bathrooms is via the hallway. The bedrooms each boast comfortable twin beds that can be joined or separated as required, and the bathrooms come with shower, washbasin and toilet
• The hallway also provides access to the other side of the house, where there’s an master bedroom, a lovely large room with double bed, large wardrobe, a relaxing bath, a separate shower and a toilet. The sink, Anna found during the renovation and dates from the 16th century. The sturdy wooden ceiling beams, concrete floor and beautiful decorations make it a real zen bedroom.

3rd floor:

• A step higher brings you to the living area with a spacious living room with comfortable couch, lounge chairs, large TV and a dining table with comfortable chairs. The fireplace for the cooler months is a real cozy.
• Next to the living toom there is the covered terrace. You can rool the table from the kitchen for meals al fresco or just sit in the butterfly chair and enjoy the views. There is a fireplace, also used as a bbq in the summer.
• The kitchen is beautiful with the sturdy stone walls, white wall cabinet that contains all the facilities you could wish for in a kitchen and dining table with director's chairs

It is possible to park your car on the ground floor for an additional fee. Alternatively, there is free parking on the outskirts of the city - an approximate 15-minute walk from Alemanys5.
