Borgo Castello Panicaglia is quietly situated on a hill with fantastic views over the green Umbrian valleys and hilltop villages. The "borgo" consists of three buildings in which the 17 luxury rooms and suites (2-8 people) are located. Furthermore, there is a small church that once a year is used for a special local celebration.
The spacious rooms - named after the former residents of the 'borgo' - are all unique and have a stylish and warm design. All rooms are equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, mosquito window screen, ceiling fans, and care products in the bathroom. There is no air conditioning, but the thick walls keep the rooms nice and cool in the summer.
Olive trees, forests, and a beautiful garden with flowers and plants surround the buildings and provide a wonderful setting to relax and enjoy nature.

Food @ Borgo Castello Panicaglia
Every morning you can indulge a breakfast buffet with carefully selected products (including bread, yogurt, and fruits). The hotel has a restaurant where an Italian chef prepares lunch and dinner (4-course menu) every day. Bookings can be made on the spot. For the preparation of the dishes, the chef uses home-grown ingredients and products from local farmers and companies. Meals can be enjoyed at the long dining table with other guests, but also at a separate table for two or for your own family.
Also, there is an honesty bar where you can take a delicious wine or make an espresso.
Children activities
During the school holidays (beginning of July to the end of August), a small team is organizing activities for the children to give some carefree moments to their parents. Some of the activities are:
- Making pizza; from searching for wood (for the oven), kneading the dough, decorating, and, of course, eating it
- Picking fruit and vegetables in the vegetable garden
- Swimming pool games and afternoon crafts
- Watching movies (twice a week) in the outdoor cinema
- Activities in the adjacent forest such as treasure hunts, walks, and game viewing.
