Borgo Gelso is an exclusive villa, which the owners have completely renovated to bring the old architecture back to its original beauty. Borgo Gelso consists of three independent buildings, each with luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms and its own kitchen.
In July and August Borgo Gelso is only rented as a whole (for a maximum of 10 persons) and therefore you have exclusive use of all rooms and all luxury facilities. Outside these summer months you can also rent one of the three independent accommodations. You will then share the swimming pool, the garden and the various terraces.
Bedrooms
The 5 hotel-worthy bedrooms are spread over the three independent buildings. Most rooms have stone vaulted ceilings, which are typical for the area in Puglia, and concrete floors. Everywhere you will find a combination of modern design, eye-catching colours and interesting elements that make each room unique and personal. There are also 5 luxury bathrooms, most of which are ensuite. The bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers and sometimes even with a spacious bathtub. All rooms have underfloor cooling and heating. In addition, first class mattresses and high quality linen and towels are at your disposal.
Living areas
Each independent building has a cosy living room, with relaxed seating areas, fireplaces and modern kitchens. The kitchens are each equipped with an oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, espresso machine, kettle, hob or cooker and other cooking utensils. Choose to have a private chef come to Borgo Gelso, and enjoy an Apulian meal while enjoying a Primitivo wine from the cellar.
Outside & Pool
Outside, you will find several places to retreat to or to gather with all the guests. Around the pool, you will find several sunbeds and even a huge Balinese lounger. There is also a dining table for 10 people and a barbecue. Finally, there is a spacious roof terrace with a Jacuzzi and beautiful views over Surano. It doesn't get much better than this to taste the beauty and charm of the Pugliese dolce vita!
