Ca l'Andreu is a unique villa that can accommodate 8 to 9 people. Not only the exceptional location but also the medieval building itself make this hideaway a fabulous place to stay. Upon arrival, you will be personally welcomed by one of the owners, who will guide you around with enthusiasm.

Layout of the villa

• The villa has two floors; guests only rent the rooms on the ground floor.
• Large entrance hall with a lounge corner.
• Spacious living area 'Galeria' with comfortable furniture, an old fireplace, a round dining table, and a flat-screen TV. From here you have stunning views of the park.
• Large modern kitchen (fully equipped) with a spacious cooking island, a gas hob, an oven, a refrigerator, and a Nespresso coffee machine. Next to the kitchen is the spacious dining room with a large table (with room for up to 12 people).
• The second living area, 'The Studio', can be used as a living/relaxation room or as an additional bedroom. This is an inviting place to get together with the family and read a book or play a game. There are plenty of books and games available for use.
• Four double bedrooms including one master bedroom, which is the largest bedroom that has an ensuite bathroom with a shower and a bath. The other three bedrooms are suitable for two people and have a modern bathroom with a shower (one is wheelchair accessible). Two of the three bedrooms are furnished with single beds, and one bedroom has an antique Catalan double bed. As previously mentioned, 'The Studio' can also serve as a (single or double) bedroom, the extra costs are € 10 per night. There are also two small beds for children up to 14 years that can be placed in any room. The costs are € 5 per night per bed.

Outside

Ca l'Andreu is an old farm, situated on a large estate with fields and an orchard where fresh fruits and vegetables are grown. It is possible to harvest this food together with the owner or to prepare a delicious dinner together.

• At the front of the house, you will find a large tiled terrace (300m2) with an attractive pergola, two wooden tables, and lounge furniture. From here, trails run into the nature park and towards the orchard where the vegetables and fruits are grown.
• Outside at the side of the kitchen stands a table that is ideal for breakfast. Guests can also use the portable barbecue.
• Large green backyard on different levels, completely covered with grass, lots of beautiful trees, and a gorgeous pool with eight sunbeds. From here you have amazing panoramas of the city and the sea.

Sustainability @ Ca l'Andreu

The farm is completely ecological and uses green energy and waste facilities that affect the environment as little as possible. It is Biosphere Certified, for its efforts to continuously work towards sustainable practices. At Ca l'Andreau:

• water is taken from its own wells for the garden, swimming pools, and vegetable garden. Rainwater is collected in a large water tank.
• wastewater is treated in an artificial wetland on site which provides a natural habitat for various plants and animals
• at least 90% of the electricity required is self-produced via a photovoltaic station, the remaining energy is purchased from a cooperative (SOM Energia) that only works with renewable energy
• you can find mainly LED lighting and energy-efficient household appliances. The water is heated by the sun and the central heating is powered by a biomass boiler that mainly runs on pellet fuels.
• 100% of the organic material produced is recycled in compost bins. The glass, paper, cardboard, metal cans, plastic bottles, and cardboard packaging are collected separately. Guests are provided with an eco-kit containing: recycling bins, a compost bin, a zero-waste grocery kit, a cork waste, and a waste oil waste.

Finally, Ca l'Andreau is a CCPAE-certified organic horticultural farm where organic fruit and vegetables are grown.
