Casa Calella is a small-scale boutique hotel nestled in the old center of the coastal town of Calella de Palafrugell. This is the most captivating town of the Baix Emporda. The hotel is adjacent to a beautiful church in a square, and it is only 100 meters from the sea. Walk through authentic streets to one of the nearby beaches or charming restaurants or follow the path along the sea bays with beautiful scenery.

The 19 th -century building has been completely restored while retaining its original details and is equipped with all modern conveniences. In the charming, spacious garden, you can relax, read, or enjoy a drink from the honesty bar. A tasty freshly-made breakfast is served on the terrace under the lemon tree.

The accommodation is small-scale and has only four comfortable rooms. Two double bedrooms and two suites with a private seating area and a sleeping sofa where two children can sleep. The suites are, therefore, ideal for a small family. The little ones are as well welcome, for them a cot can be added in the room free of charge.

The location of Casa Calella can’t be better! It is a 45-minutes’ drive from Girona, near idyllic villages like Pals and Begur and there are various beaches with lively beach bars to choose from.

In 2017, Javier & Rick started running this modern and small-scale bed and breakfast in the historic center of the coastal town of Calella de Palafrugell. They offer you a warm welcome and a relaxed stay.

Rooms

  • There are only four rooms, two suites and 2 double bedrooms. All are attractively furnished and perfectly equipped with a TV, air conditioning, heating, free Wi-Fi, and rain showers. The rooms are bright and overlook the garden or the church square.
  • The suites (28 m2) are larger than the double rooms (18 m2) and have their own private seating area with a comfortable sofa bed, suitable for 1 or 2 children.

Service

  • Every morning your table is set under the lemon tree to enjoy a delicious, freshly-made breakfast between 9.00 - 11.00 including sandwiches, croissants, yogurt, fruit, cold cuts, fresh orange juice, and coffee/tea. Breakfast can be served in the room at no extra cost.
  • In the garden is an honesty bar where you can grab a drink.

Children

  • Children are welcome! A cot can be added in the room, and a high chair and a baby bath are available. The suites are ideal for a small family! The location also lends itself to little children, with a quiet square in front of the house and entertainment within walking distance.
