Casa da Lila is a private holiday home that’s enviably situated in a pleasant street in the historical town of Silves, in southern Portugal. Together with a local architect, the Dutch owners have realised a truly unique project. Hidden behind a traditional and modest façade are beautiful interiors showcasing contemporary architecture and design. It’s a decidedly spacious property comprising three levels, each boasting spectacular views of the town and surrounding hills. The holiday home features polished concrete floors, handmade tiles, vintage furniture and design lighting. The garden facing rooms additionally benefit from direct access to the sun terraces.
