From the living room, you get on the outdoor terrace with a picnic table, lounge chairs, and a gorgeous plunge pool that you can enjoy on sunny days.
When you step out of the door you can walk in 15 minutes to a wooden walkway on Alqueva Lake where you can jump into the water. For more relaxation, a charming river beach near Mourão is a 10-minute drive away. As an official Dark Sky destination, Lake Alqueva is perfect for stargazing, and you can do that at the nearby observatory, but you can also admire the beauty of the lake and its surrounding plains from a kayak or even a hot air balloon! In addition, the historic villages of Monsaraz and Évora are nearby to be discovered.
