The architecture of Casa La Saracena honours Apulian tradition, but does so in a contemporary way. Local stone, lime plaster, rainwater recycling, and energy-efficient systems are part of the sustainable philosophy behind this project. This line continues inside: understated luxury with a warm touch. Wood, linen, natural stone, and custom-made furniture fill the spaces. Nothing is excessive, everything has been carefully chosen.

The original Saracen trullo has been transformed into a cozy suite with two connecting rooms and a bathroom, particularly suitable for families or couples. In addition, there is a separate bedroom with a private entrance and bathroom. The living room with sleek black designer kitchen and comfortable sitting area is a great place to be together. Large patio doors lead to a shady terrace with an outdoor kitchen, dining table, and lounge sofas. The infinity pool – elongated blue – glistens in the sun and invites you to spend long afternoons doing nothing, with a view of waving olive trees and the silence of the countryside as a soundtrack.

  • The kitchen opens onto a living room with two comfortable sofas and a smart TV.
  • There are three bedrooms: the Suite with two intimate, connecting rooms and a shared bathroom with a shower. Both bedrooms in the Suite have a queen-size bed (160x200cm) 
  • Next to the Suite, with a private entrance, is the third bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200cm) and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

  • From the living room, patio doors lead to a large, shaded terrace with a dining table and an outdoor kitchen, which is equipped with an induction hob and a sink
  • The infinity pool (4x10 m and 150 cm deep) is surrounded by a sun terrace with teak loungers and a lounge corner

Sustainability
Casa La Saracena was built with respect for the land: from cement floors without glue to local gravel and breathable lime paint on the centuries-old walls. The trulli naturally keep the indoor climate pleasant, solar energy supplies the house with electricity, and water comes from its own source: Everything in harmony with the environment.

While the pool is not heated, its dark blue color — a design choice — helps naturally raise the water temperature by absorbing more sunlight, making it pleasantly warm even in springtime.
The pool has a latest-generation system with chlorine, not saltwater, ensuring crystal-clear water and an optimal balance between comfort and hygiene.
