This charming apartment is located in the old center of Matino, a very authentic and characteristic village in Puglia a fifteen minute drive from the beaches on the beautiful Ionian Sea. Immerse yourself fully in Italian village life or discover the art of Il dolce far niente in this beautiful part of southern Italy.  

The recently renovated building dates back to the seventeenth century and today houses Casa Palamita. You will find a place for two with a cozy living kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. The traditional whitewashed walls and cocciopesto floor are characteristic of this region and the turquoise colored window frames and the shells in the bedroom refer to the clear blue sea that can be found a few kilometers from the apartment.

As icing on the cake, on the top floor you will find a spacious roof terrace with an outdoor kitchen, ideal for long summer evenings. The terrace offers views over the village center and guarantees beautiful sunsets. For nice day trips you can drive to the coastal towns of Gallipoli and Nardò, the southernmost tip of the country Santa Maria di Leuca or the great city of Lecce, also called the "Florence of the South".
