Boutique hotel Casa Talía is formed by a series of small houses, on different levels, situated around a central courtyard. Each room has its own entrance (from the garden) and a panoramic private terrace or balcony. All rooms are inspired by Mediterranean places and the cultures that have left their mark on Sicily. Each room is different (with its own colors and atmospheres) but always furnished with style and attention to detail.

Much attention has been paid to the choice of materials, which are natural, ecological, and, above all, typical of the Sicilian tradition: stone walls, lime plasters, thatched roofs, and tiled floors.

There are 4 different categories of rooms, some duplex, suitable for 2-5 people, so also ideal for families with children who are very welcome here. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a safe, digital television, an internet connection, and a minibar. Parking is free at a 100m distance.

TALÍA | 44m² (15m² terrace/garden) | 4 people | Superior Suite

• This large room is on two levels and has a private terrace overlooking the garden and the cathedral. The room is characterized by stone walls, a thatched ceiling with wooden beams, and an old black stone floor.
• The room is equipped with a desk and a double bed. It is also possible to add two extra single beds (or baby cots) to the loft in this room.
• The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink, bidet, and toilet.

MERIDIANA | 49m2 (13m² terrace) | 4 people | Superior Suite

• This large room is on two levels and has a private terrace overlooking the garden and the cathedral. The room is characterized by a thatched ceiling with white wooden beams, stone walls, and terracotta floors with an Arabic design.
• The room is equipped with a desk and a double bed (with a mosquito net). It is also possible to add two extra single beds or baby cots on the loft in this room.
• The bathroom has a shower, sink, bidet, and toilet.

AGAVE | 72m2 (24m2 terrace) | 2-5 people | Suite

• This beautiful suite has a private terrace with a view of the cathedral, green agave colors on the walls, a wood-beamed ceiling, and antique tiled floors.
• The room has 2 bedrooms plus a small living room that opens onto the terrace.
• The larger bedroom is equipped with a double bed and a single bed while the small bedroom is equipped with a double bed.

• This large suite has a private terrace with views of the garden and cathedral. It features a thatched ceiling and a polished floor in the colors of the desert.
• The room has a double bed - which can be made up of two single beds - and the possibility to add a baby bed. In addition, the room has two sofas that can be used as a child's bed.
• The bathroom with old blue tiles has a bidet, shower, toilet, and sink.

SCIARA | 30m² + 14m² (roof) terrace | 3 people | Superior Room

• This room features a private roof terrace with a view of the cathedral, red and black ceramics on the walls, a white-painted thatched ceiling, and a stone floor.
• The room has a double bed and a single bed, in addition, it is possible to add a baby bed.
• There is also a desk in this room and a staircase takes you to the roof terrace with two lounge chairs.

• This room has a special shower cubicle, a small balcony with a view of the city, a traditional black stone floor, and a beautifully decorated headboard.

• No extra beds can be placed in the room.

IBLA | 21m2 | 2 people | Standard room

• With beautiful garden views, this room has original stone walls and a traditional black stone floor.
• The room has a double bed and a small desk.
• The bathroom is an open space with a round shower with a shower curtain, a toilet, and a bidet that are hidden behind a curtain.
• No extra beds can be placed in the room.

Food @ Casa Talia
A rich breakfast (with homemade jams, fresh fruit, creamy yogurt, orange juice, bread, and pastries) is served in a breakfast room that connects to a lounge area (carved into a cave). In the summer you can have breakfast outside in the shade of the fig tree. It is also possible to use room service for a "romantic breakfast" in your room.

Casa Talía does not have a restaurant, but picnic baskets can be arranged for lunch, and for dinner, the owners and staff can recommend Modica's best chefs and restaurants. From local trattoria to the Michelin-starred restaurant Accursio… Be sure to try them out!

Children @ Casa Talia
Children are very welcome. Several rooms are very suitable for families. For example, the Scirocco suite has 2 single sofas that can be used as beds for the children, and the duplex rooms Meridiana and Talía have sofa beds on their upper floors. Baby beds can also be added on request (except in standard rooms).

Outside @ Casa Talia
The lush courtyard is the heart of the hotel and is furnished with sun loungers, a hammock, and an outdoor shower. Breakfast is served here in the summer.

Remark:
Casa Talía is on a hill, from the town (Corso Umberto) it is a 10-minute climb up the hill - not ideal for those with limited mobility or very young children.
