The old farmhouse consists of a brand new kitchen, with Miele and Bosch appliances, including the stocked wine fridge. The original living room has been completely renovated, while maintaining the typical original thatched roof. The former barn, adjoining the living room, has been transformed into a cozy patio, around the old bread oven, where it is very intimate and cozy to eat in the evening, but where you can fully enjoy the first rays of sunshine even in the winter. . The stables became a beautiful dining room, with not only the beautiful views as an eye catcher, but also the glass wine cellar. It is filled with the most unique wines in the world, and they can be removed by the receptionist upon simple request.
The bedrooms are decorated in the style of the local, cubist architecture. Each bedroom not only has its own modern, luxurious bathroom, but also its own patio with a hammock. This ensures that you can withdraw completely if you are there for example with a group of friends or large family.
Outside you will find, next to the cozy indoor patio, several terraces, an old, working bread oven (now also a perfect pizza oven), and a beautiful stylish swimming pool, from which you have a beautiful view.

Casa Um is spread over two floors.
First floor
- here is the original, renovated shepherd's farm.
- the stylish modern kitchen is equipped with the most modern appliances: a fridge, induction hob, dishwasher and designer extractor hood from Miele and Bosch. The worktop and sink is in local natural stone. And as an extra you will find here our wine fridge, filled with the best Portuguese wines, at perfectly adjusted temperature. (honesty bar system: what you drink during the week is charged at the end of the stay)
- from the kitchen you have access to the living room, where beautiful designer sofas and lounge chairs invite you to relax around the fireplace. The large windows, overlooking the inner patio and the garden, greatly enhance the inside-outside effect.
- Adjacent to the living room you have the indoor patio. Here you will find the barbecue, which is integrated in the original shepherd's oven.
- In the outdoor patio we have designer garden furniture and also a water feature which provides a refreshing holiday feeling throughout the day.
- From the living room and the inner patio, you enter the dining room. Here you can dine very stylishly, with a view of the most beautiful wine selection in our enclosed glass wine room. Through the corridor you also enter the guest toilet.
Ground floor
- You enter the sleeping quarters via a staircase in the dining room.
- The 4 serene bedrooms each have their en-suite bathroom, with washbasins and walk-in showers, made from local natural stone. Because sleep is enormously important, all beds are from the Portuguese brand Molaflex, which you will only find in the most exclusive hotels in Portugal.
- Through large windows in every bedroom and bathroom you enter a private patio, belonging to each room. This patio brings the necessary peace and shade, making a siesta in the hammock a piece of cake.
Outside
- on different terraces you will find dining tables and chairs so that you can choose where you want to have breakfast, lunch or dinner that day in the shade or atmosphere of the moment
