Casa Uva is a charming guesthouse located in the heart of Vejer de la Frontera, a picturesque town in the Spanish province of Cádiz. This guesthouse has been renovated with love and an eye for detail and design by the Dutch/Spanish owners Loes and Alvaro. Expect soft earth tones, natural materials, refined fabrics, and a combination of beautiful Mediterranean and Moorish decorations inside.

The guesthouse has three comfortable double bedrooms and a studio, each with a modern bathroom. The studio has a sofa that can serve as a sleeping place for children (on request) and a small fully equipped kitchen. Casa Uva has a panoramic roof terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the city and the coast. The terrace is equipped with a lounge area, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. There is also a communal coffee corner where you can make coffee and use the shared refrigerator.

Outside the door, you step straight into the narrow streets of Vejer, with its whitewashed buildings, Moorish architecture, and local restaurants. The town is also just a 15-minute drive from some gorgeous sandy beaches, including Playa del Palmar and Playa de Zahora, with opportunities for swimming and water sports. A little further away, the surfers' hotspot Tarifa beckons, as is the old city of Cádiz. Also, a road trip along the alluring "pueblos blancos" in the country side is worthwhile.
