Casa Xonar is located in the town of Silves in the south of Portugal, 17 km from the lively Portimão and 20 km from the popular Rocha. Silves is an attractive town in the Algarve with narrow streets, many beautiful houses and other buildings and terraces. The given name, Casa Xonar, stands for rest, sleep and dream. It offers a perfect accommodation in the center of the old town.

Casa Xonar reflects its historical context with a private feel throughout the house, from its Moorish exterior to its beautiful roof terraces and hidden bedrooms. The house was remodeled by Studio Arte and the design folds out sight as you move from room to room. On the patio, the plunge pool, along with the ambient sounds, creates a fresh and relaxing atmosphere on a hot summer evening. The roof terrace on the second floor is well equipped with two sun beds, an outdoor shower and an outdoor kitchen, with insane views of the city and the adjacent countryside. An absolute must to enjoy the sun here. The star lounge can be found at the highest point of the house; a small place to fall asleep looking at the stars. More importantly, it gives a 360 degree view of Silves.
