Castello di Granarola Relais was once an important feudal outpost, where wheat was kept from the fertile valley..now it is a special place with unique suites & apartments, suitable for 2 - 6 people.... The castle has been carefully reconstructed with local stones. Italian owner and designer Marco Morosini has executed the interior with natural materials such as wood, terracotta, ceramics and cast iron. Each apartment has its own theme, like the Granaio (granary) suite, with shelves of loaves of bread...the bright Colombaia (dovecote) suite has bamboo birdcage lamps above the raised sleeping area...you will find good beds with beautiful linens, fine toiletries, air conditioning and atmospheric details....
The location is beautiful, dominating on a hill with all-round views over the green hills and coast of Le Marche. The nearest village is Gradara (5 min) and within 15 km you are in the larger towns of Cattolica and Pesaro. A visit to the nature reserve of San Bartolo is also worthwhile, where you can still find beautiful quiet beaches.
In the garden you will find two swimming pools, one of which has different levels with three idromassage zones and a second pool for adults only. There is a communal BBQ area in the garden, wood-fired pizza oven, an outdoor rain shower and just outside the castle's gate a nice trattoria where you can eat delicious food!

Unique, tasteful accommodation in Le Marche close to the sea
Castello di Granarola Relais is owned by the proud owner and Italian designer Marco Morosini. He has restored the building with lots of love, patience, and attention to detail. Now it is a very special place to stay in Le Marche, only 10 minutes away from the coast!
The location is suitable for both couples and families with teenagers who want to enjoy a beautiful place and yet remain close to the sea, without the accompanying crowds. In the area, there are several good restaurants, and the owners also offer tips. Also very nice is Osteria Il Melograno, a local trattoria at 50 meters from the castle.
The apartments, suitable for 2 to 6 people, are spread over the first floor and ground floor and have a size of 20 - 80 m2. The interior is light and fresh and decorated with nice details, there is a lot of handmade ceramics. Each apartment is equipped with air conditioning (except in Fox's Den) and most apartments (except for the comfort double rooms) offer a kitchenette available on request for an extra charge. Not all apartments have their own terrace or balcony, but there are seats in the garden where you can eat outside if you do not have a private terrace.
Recently a very special suite was created, called Into The Forest. Here you can sleep in the open air and wake up surrounded by nature. It is also possible to rent the suite for one night when you stay in one of the other apartments.
Outside you will find one swimming pool which has different levels with three hydromassage zones. There is a second pool reserved only for adults to guarantee tranquillity and quiet to all guests. Moreover, you find a terrace with sun loungers, a poolside tapas bar for aperitivo, a shared BBQ area, and a wood-fired pizza oven.
Please note that due to the layout and amount of suites for 2 persons it is mostly suitable for couples, but families with children are also very welcome.
