This impressive medieval castle - listed as a monument - has been completely renovated while retaining its original features: old stones, exposed beams, and historic architecture. The decor is elegant and modest and combines modern design and soft warm colors with antique pieces and eye-catching murals and paintings. The result: an authentic French castle style with a contemporary flair.

The castle consists of three buildings, the main house (Grand Logis) can accommodate ten people with a fully equipped kitchen, an elegant dining room, two living rooms offering sweeping views of the courtyard, and five prestigious bedrooms with private bathrooms. The equally charming outbuilding, Petit Logis, can accommodate another 8 people while the picturesque tower (La Tour) features two double bedrooms, each with its bathroom.

The outside of this building is just as beautiful as the inside! Surrounded by a dry moat is an alluring green park with a padel and pétanque court, a rose garden, a large heated swimming pool, and an open terrace with a picturesque view of the valley and the forests. If you wish, high-quality services can be offered from a chef, breakfast, or a country picnic to yoga classes, massages, and transfers.

Charming Brantôme is 10 minutes away to enjoy the local cuisine in the atmospheric bistros on the banks of the river and you can walk and cycle - bicycles are provided - in the countryside. Plus, majestic castles, farmers markets, and medieval towns are within easy reach to be explored.

Château de Chanet is spread over three separate buildings and is set in the middle of a 14-hectare private park. This large, elegant, and authentic French estate offers a unique stay in an exceptional setting for a total of 23 people.

Le Grand Logis | 10 people

  • Two charming living rooms with access to the courtyard and views of the valley
  • A spacious and equipped open kitchen opens onto an elegant dining room with a large table that seats 14 people, doors give access to the terrace or courtyard
  • The kitchen is fully equipped with a central island and bar, two ovens, microwaves, gas hobs, two dishwashers, a Nespresso machine, a toaster, kettle, and the rear kitchen has a large fridge/freezer.
  • Upstairs there are five large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms in light marble. One of the bedrooms, 'the bridal suite', is located in the historic tower on the top floor.

Le Petit Logis | 8 people

  • This building has two large and bright living rooms (55m² and 65m²) that are accessible via a monumental staircase.
  • There are four double bedrooms, which can accommodate up to eight guests, and two bathrooms

La Tour | 4 people

This remarkable tower has two beautiful bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. The rooms are independent and accessed from the outside via the terrace or veranda.

The private park will enchant you with its spaces and amenities, including:
