Upon arrival at Málaga Airport, your holiday can begin right away. The half-hour drive to Cortijo Juan Salvador is already a promise of what’s to come: a winding mountain road passing small villages and lined with eucalyptus trees swaying in the breeze. In the distance, the cortijo appears—a white oasis tucked away among the lush green hills of the Montes de Málaga Nature Reserve. A fantastic location, just 25 minutes from the historic centre of Málaga!

The property

The holiday home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests and is divided into two apartments:

La Higuera (150 m²)

• 3 bedrooms with the option to add extra beds. The king-size beds (2.10 x 2.00 m) offer extra comfort; depending on the setup, the beds can also be separated into two single beds (2.10 x 1.00 m)
• 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub)
• Spacious open kitchen and dining area
• Cozy TV lounge (can be closed off if parents prefer some peace and quiet)
• Large 90 m² terrace with mountain views
• Front terrace (50 m²) with seating area and outdoor shower

El Almendro (130 m²)

• 3 bedrooms, the king-size beds (2.10 x 2.00 m) offer extra comfort; depending on the setup, the beds can also be separated into two single beds (2.10 x 1.00 m)
• 2 bathrooms (one en suite with a bathtub)
• Open kitchen with round dining table
• Adjacent to a large 350 m² patio with outdoor shower and covered veranda featuring a long dining table for 12

The estate

• The 6-hectare estate of Cortijo Juan Salvador is spread across several beautifully maintained terraces at different levels. Flowers and fruit trees flourish here, and the views over the Málaga mountains are both beautiful and serene.
• Large infinity pool (14 x 4 m) with a covered terrace of 48 m², outdoor kitchen, and dining table for 12
• Multiple terraces at various heights, surrounded by colourful flowers and fruit trees
• Shady seating under an old pine tree—perfect for taking in the views
• A hammock in a quiet corner invites you to simply drift away
• Organic vegetable and herb garden offering fresh, homegrown ingredients
• A smaller plunge pool (3 x 2 m) one terrace lower, with sun loungers—safe and gated for small children
• The charming courtyard with a long dining table is ideal for shared meals, or for gathering around a campfire under the starry night sky
