El Indio consists of two parts: the main house and an apartment, both adjacent to the courtyard. The house can therefore comfortably accommodate 8 people. Inside, you will find traditional southern Spanish elements, such as the beautiful tiled floors and the dark wooden beams. In addition, you will find the modern comfort of a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms and fine bedrooms with air conditioning.
In the garden, you will be surprised by the wide, unobstructed views of the countless rows of olive trees and the green mountains. Enjoy this amazing view while having lunch or dinner on the terrace, or from the hammock among the olive branches. A short walk away you will find the ultimate highlight of this property: the imposing swimming pool! If you would rather explore the surroundings, you can drive to the nearby town of Archidona, a historic town with Roman and Moorish remains or drive to the lake of Iznájar, with its clear blue waters, numerous hiking trails, beaches and charming villages.

Modern vacation home for 8 people with private pool with great views
El Indio is a very privately situated holiday home in the interior of Andalusia. El Indio sleeps 8 and comprises a main house and a seprate apartment. The last 2 kilometres to the house are on a beautiful, but unpaved road. El Indio is completely private at the end of this dead end road. At the end, you arrive at a fantastic location where you will have the feeling of total peace and nature, where you will only hear the birds singing. If you find it exciting to drive on a mountain road, we advise you to rent a 4WD or SUV, for the increase of your comfort and to make the country road easier to drive on.
Layout El Indio | 210 m²
Main house:
Behind the large antique gate the typical Spanish patio unfolds. On the left is the entrance to the apartment and straight ahead you will find the entrance to the main house. This is laid out as follows:
- You enter and find on the left the kitchen, equipped with: a gas cooker, combi-oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, espresso machine (Dolce Gusto), filter coffee machine, kettle, blender, toaster and other cooking utensils.
- Further on you will find the compact living room, with a seating area and a fireplace. Adjacent you will find the dining table.
- Separate toilet.
- Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and doors to the patio.
- Separate bathroom, equipped with a spacious shower, washbasin and toilet.
- Behind the bathroom is the laundry room, with a washing machine and ironing facilities.
- On the first floor there are two more bedrooms, both with double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a bathroom, equipped with shower, sink and toilet. One of the bedrooms has a smart TV.
- Also, there is a small lounge with a book case filled with books.
Apartment:
The apartment is adjacent to the house, but offers complete independence, ideal for guests who enjoy a little more privacy. The apartment is furnished with:
- A cosy living room, with a seating area, smart TV and a wood-burning stove.
- There is also a kitchen, equipped with: a 2-ring induction hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, espresso machine (Dolce Gusto), kettle and other cooking utensils. Adjacent you will find the dining table.
- Bedroom with double bed (140 x 200 cm) and adjacent bathroom, equipped with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Outdoors:
El Indio is located in the middle of the Andalusian interior, surrounded by a working olive grove.
- Behind the large antique gate, the typical Spanish patio unfolds, nicely covered by greenery in summer. To the left is the entrance for the apartment and straight ahead is the entrance for the main house.
- Adjacent to both the main house and the apartment is an inviting terrace, consisting of three levels. Here you will find a dining table, lounge chairs, a hammock and a large picnic table.
- The terrace adjoins a large green lawn with further on the beginning of the olive grove.
- A short walk up an unpaved path, you will find the beautifully situated swimming pool. The pool is 4.5 by 9.5 metres and overlooks the green, undeveloped landscape.
Please note: there is an adjusted price for a smaller travel groups. If you want to stay with 1-6 guests at El Indio, you will only rent the main house and the rental amount will be lower.
