Encosta do Sobreiro is located in a beautiful landscape at the foot of the Serra da Estrela in the centre of Portugal. The houses have been architecturally remodeled and furnished with high-quality materials and modern furniture. Encosta do Sobreiro consists of several villas that can be rented separately. You can also book the whole house (Casa da Quinta). Casa da Quinta is Casa da Lareira and Casa do Positgo together. In other words, the lower and upper floor. Casa do Socalco is a separate villa. All four villas feature: spacious bedrooms, modern bathrooms with marble floors, fully equipped kitchens and cozy living rooms with wood-burning stoves that warm you up during the cool nights of the Serra.

Encosta do Sobreiro is set in 2.5 acres of grounds, where a range of facilities invite you to relax and have active fun. Go hiking or adventure in the woods, rest on the sun loungers, cool off in the saltwater pool or in the small private pool (if you have Casa da Quinta, Casa da Lareira or Casa do Socalco). In addition to spending time in and around the houses, there are many attractions in the area to explore. Go swimming, canoeing or picnicking at the Mondego River (just 5 minutes away), hiking in the Serra da Estrela, or take a drive through the hills and discover charming towns and historic villages. Porto is a 1.5-hour drive north.
