Encosta do Sobreiro consists of several villas that can be rented separately. You can also book the whole house (Casa da Quinta). Casa da Quinta is Casa da Lareira and Casa do Positgo together. In other words, the lower and upper floor. Casa do Socalco is a separate villa. All four villas feature: spacious bedrooms, modern bathrooms with marble floors, fully equipped kitchens and cozy living rooms with wood-burning stoves that warm you up during the cool nights of the Serra.
Encosta do Sobreiro is set in 2.5 acres of grounds, where a range of facilities invite you to relax and have active fun. Go hiking or adventure in the woods, rest on the sun loungers, cool off in the saltwater pool or in the small private pool (if you have Casa da Quinta, Casa da Lareira or Casa do Socalco). Play a game of volleyball or soccer with friends, take the kids to the playground, entertain yourself with board games and at the end of the day enjoy the beautiful sunset by the outdoor fireplace.
In addition to spending time in and around the houses, there are many attractions in the area to explore. Go swimming, canoeing or picnicking at the Mondego River (just 5 minutes away), hiking in the Serra da Estrela, or take a drive through the hills and discover charming towns and historic villages. Encosta do Sobreiro are beautifully renovated houses that can be rented separately or as a whole. The houses are set in a beautiful large (2.5 hectares) private garden with a saltwater pool which is shared when several houses are rented at the same time. Casa da Quinta and Casa da Lareira also feature a small private pool (which cannot be heated). Casa do Sacolco also has a small private pool which can be heated from April to October. If you rent the whole house (Casa da Quinta) you have exclusive use of both pools!
Encosta do Sobreiro offers many sports facilities and games for young and old such as a mini soccer field, volleyball court, certified children's playground, table tennis table, turnball (tennis pole set) and an outdoor Tic-Tac-Toe game. If you rent one of the floors you share these facilities with guests on the other floor. There are plenty of parking spaces.
