Choose from 18 Earth Rooms in the old Claustro building, characterized by understated architecture and earth walls, or three minimalist houses (for 4-6 people) in the Monte building, ideal for large or small families, with spacious balconies and equipped kitchenettes. Every detail has been considered, expect natural tones, soft fabrics, and a mix of Scandinavian design and local craftsmanship.

Gandum Village is made for rest, coming together, and enjoyment. The day begins with a dreamy breakfast: freshly baked bread, local cheeses, fruits, and homemade delicacies, all prepared with love. For lunch and dinner, you can taste pure, seasonal dishes, often from the restaurant’s vegetable garden, at Restaurant Provenance. In between, you can float in one of the three swimming pools (including two children’s pools), explore the estate by bike, or grab a book and relax in one of the reading corners. For those who want to combine work and relaxation, there is even an inspiring co-working space.

The surroundings? Wander through the historic streets of Montemor-o-Novo, taste Alentejo wine at local quintas, or head out into nature for a walk. For a trip to the coast, you can reach the wild beaches of Comporta in an hour. This is slow-living at its best!

Gandum Village is a rural sustainable boutique hotel located on an alluring 14ha-estate in the Alentejo region. The hotel has 18 Earth Rooms located in the Claustro building and 3 family houses (up to 6 people) in the Monte building.

All Earth rooms have a double bed (180x200cm), a Ferm Living sofa bed for an extra person, a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and toiletries, and a balcony with outdoor furniture.

Casa 1 (for 6 people) has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed and a single bed), a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave,, as well as a bathroom with a shower and a balcony.
Casa 2 (for 4 people) has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed), a living room, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave,, as well as a bathroom with a shower and bath and a balcony.
Casa 3 is a cozy studio (for 3 people) with a double bed, a sofa bed, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, as well as a bathroom with a shower and a balcony.

All accommodations are equipped with air conditioning, a work area, a TV, Wi-Fi, a safe, and a kettle. The beds are made with organic mattresses, linen, pillows, and towels. One of the Earth rooms is fully equipped for disabled guests.
Every morning you will be spoiled with a rich breakfast with artisan bread and carefully prepared pastries, fresh and dried fruit, natural yogurt, artisan cheeses, fresh eggs, and homemade cold cuts complemented by natural drinks, coffee, and tea.
