Perched on a hill, overlooking an unspoiled valley, on the edge of the stunning Luberon National Park, Hameau de Treimars enjoys a truly idyllic location. Indeed, the views of the snowy peaks of the Lure mountain and the purple hills of the Grand Luberon are quite simply breathtaking!
The luxurious accommodation comprises Maison Haute and Maison Basse - two separate holiday homes, each accommodating up to 6 guests. During high season the houses must be rented together, making them ideal for family/friends wishing to holiday together.
Their rustic interiors are warm and playful, and feature colourful finishing touches.
Hameau de Treimars is enveloped by 40 hectares of unspoilt countryside. The gardens were designed by a landscape architect and boast three beautifully furnished terraces, each affording breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and offering a choice of sunny or shady spots, depending on the time of day. The large outdoor dining table is perfect for a leisurely BBQ with family or friends, and the kids will be kept thoroughly entertained by the jeu de boules court. There’s also a large swimming pool with comfortable sun beds and parasols, and even a tennis court!

Hameau de Treimars is 12 minutes away from the village of Viens, aan de rand van het Luberon Nationaal Park in het zuiden van de Provence. The region is characterized by a number of picturesque mountain villages that belong to the "most beautiful villages of France" as: Ansouis (55min), Gordes (50min), Lourmarin (45min), Roussillon (40min) and Ménerbes (35min). In each village you will meet talented artists and craftsmen at work. On the mountain slopes are vineyards and cherry trees and the plain grows all kinds of fruits, including the famous Cavaillon melon.
Each day of the week there is a market in one of the villages of Luberon. These range from a handful of stalls, such as Oppede-le-Vieux, or city markets in Cavaillon, and the largest of them on Saturday mornings in Apt (20 min), with more than 300 stalls.
Provence does not only have beautiful cities but also fantastic natural areas. Pale landscapes of the Camargue example. In the marshes, salt flats and rice fields live wild white horses, black bulls, pink flamingos and more than five hundred species of migratory birds.
Activities in the area:
The Luberon National Park is a bike field with plenty of marked and well described routes. The tours are easily downloadable or otherwise available from the Tourist Offices in most places.
