The private wellness features make the stay truly unique: your own Nordic hot tub and a glass-fronted sauna overlooking the Eyjafjöll mountains – the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploration, perhaps even with the Northern Lights dancing overhead.

The surroundings are equally magical. Within walking distance are Seljalandsfoss and the hidden Gljúfrabúi waterfall. A short drive takes you to Skógafoss, the black sands of Reynisfjara, and the fishing village of Vík. Just fifteen minutes away, the LAVA Centre offers interactive geological exhibitions, while the slopes of Eyjafjöll invite you to hike past lava fields and glaciers. What began as a simple trip became a profound healing process, a moment of reconnection with life, silence, and the natural world. From this experience, the vision for Harmony Seljalandsfoss was born — a place where nature and architecture merge into one. The minimalist design and the use of glass were deliberate choices, made to dissolve the boundary between inside and outside, and to invite guests to slow down, breathe, and rediscover peace within themselves.
