Il Giardino Grande is an oasis of peace located in the hinterland of Salento, a short distance from the elegant city of Gallipoli and the golden beaches of the Ionian Sea. This historic country house - once the summer residence of the aristocratic family of Parabita - has been restored down to the smallest detail, retaining its charm and refined design.
The 'dimora' is built with creamy white local limestone and is characterized by harmonious architectural lines, impressive vaulted ceilings, designer furniture, refined fabrics, and warm colors on the walls. There are 6 rooms for two people, two of which can be connected to form a family room. Some rooms have a spacious panoramic terrace overlooking the greenery.
The hotel is surrounded by wonderful gardens with 200 olive trees and local plants that give an incredible charm to the place. A daily breakfast is served in the intimate “secret garden” with a selection of fresh local produce and cakes. The swimming pool is the ideal place to relax during the hot summer days, surrounded by an enchanting nature and with the service to order drinks from the bar throughout the day. Inside the restored church with its old altar and vaulted ceilings, you can read in peace or relax with a cup of coffee.

Il Giardino Grande is a charming country house with 6 rooms that have been renovated while maintaining its original features, materials, and architecture. In the rooms, you will find impressive traditional vaulted ceilings and floors with “cocciopesto” coating, an ancient technique dating back to the time of the Romans. The rooms are named after the trees and plants that grow in the hotel's gardens and are located on the ground floor and first floor with views of the courtyard gardens or the surrounding greenery. Three rooms have spacious private terraces. An extra bed can be added in some rooms and the Ulivo and Loto rooms can be connected to form a family room.
