At an altitude of 1,450 metres, just above the village of Welschnofen, is set Karerhof – a charming mountain farm in the middle of the South Tyrolean Dolomites. Here, between green meadows, dense forests, and the impressive peaks of Latemar and Rosengarten, you can completely relax. The organic farm lives to the rhythm of the seasons and invites you to a conscious stay in harmony with nature.

The five apartments of Karerhof (for 2 to 6 people) are a model of contemporary Alpine design: natural materials, clean lines, large windows, and a timeless, minimalist interior. Think larch wood, sheep's wool, linen – combined with warm accents and panoramic views. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, a bright open-plan living, and a private terrace or balcony, ideal for those looking for peace, space, and comfort.

In the morning, the day starts with an organic breakfast in the bright dining room or outside on the sun terrace: everything comes from the home yard, from the forest, or from farmers in the area: yoghurt, muesli, home-made cake, local bread, and South Tyrolean coffee. In the food corner, you will find extra treats to take away or cook yourself, together with organic wine or beer from the honesty bar. Relax in the panoramic sauna with fragrant mountain herbs, in the garden among the flowers, by the fire pit, or with a good book in the lounge by the wood stove. There is a play corner for children and... those who dare can sleep a night in the hay bed in the wooden barn!

Karerhof is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Hiking trails through forests and alpine meadows, to the turquoise Karersee or towards the Dolomite peaks start from the front door. In winter, the ski bus takes you to the Carezza ski area in 10 minutes, and Obereggen and the Sella Ronda are also close by. Hikers, cyclists, cross-country skiers, mountain lovers, and those seeking peace will feel right at home here, all year round.
