La Chartreuse des Moulins is a large holiday home with heated swimming pool in the north of the French department Dordogne. It's a fabulous place to celebrate a holiday with family or friends. In this roomy house, there is plenty of space to play, relax and spend precious moments together at the dining table.

Layout (350 m2)

Ground floor (from left to right): 
- Large bedroom (40m2) with ensuite bathroom (bathtub, walk-in shower, and separate toilet) plus a double bed and sofa bed for two children
- In the middle of the house, the lounge area with fireplace (40m2), dining room (40m2) and country kitchen (40m2) merge into each other. This fantastic area boasts gorgeous architectural details such as high ceilings (3,5 meters), ancient beams, and terracotta floors
- There is a satellite flat-screen TV, a DVD player and you’ll find at several places in the house music stereos
- A well-equipped kitchen with a large cooktop, oven, kitchen machine, blender and various ways to make a fresh coffee in the morning
- A spacious bedroom with a double bed (180x200cm) and sofa bed (105x200cm) for one person plus a Charleston bathtub on feet and a walk-in shower. A separate toilet is situated in the hall.
- A bedroom with a double bed, a beautiful wooden wardrobe, and a sofa bed (115x200cm) for one person. Next to this room is a bathroom with bathtub, separate shower, toilet, and sink.

Upper floor: 
From the lounge area, a staircase leads you to the upper floor where you will find:
- A bedroom with a double bed (180x200cm), a crib, and two comfortable armchairs
- A large children's room (60m2) with eight colorfully made-up beds, a large toy box and a disco ball as the finishing touch to this sparkling room
- A separate bathroom with bathtub, shower, and toilet
The bedrooms feature comfortable double beds that measure 180x220cm, which can also be separated. There are some baby cribs available, which can be added to the rooms.


Garden: 
The huge garden is divided into three parts:
- The dining area, located in front of the house. This space in the shade of the trees and overlooking the peaceful meadow is the perfect spot to have a family dinner at the long dining table and to relax in the additional lounge area with comfortable sofas and sun loungers.
- The playground with swings, a slide, a trampoline, and a large lawn
- The swimming pool area (closed by a gate) which features a large heated swimming pool of 5x10 meters (up to 26°C), a hot tub (36°C), sunbeds, a large lawn, hammocks, and a ping-pong table.

Discover the enormous variety of attractions and activities in the surrounding area. Visit the beautiful vineyards, local markets, get some fresh air on the Atlantic coast, explore the nearby caves and castles, and don’t miss out the vibrant city of Bordeaux or the medieval villages Périgueux and Saint Emilion. The owners have also created some exciting day excursions that bring you to the most stupendous places in the area.
