La Maison aux Volets Bleus is a charming house situated in a small French village in the northern part of the Dordogne, nearby the surprisingly vibrant city of Bordeaux which is only an hour drive away. If you are looking for a lovely house to spend a relaxing holiday with one or more families, then La Maison aux Volets Blues is the perfect place for you!  

Layout (200 m2)

Ground floor: 

• A welcoming entrance hall, nicely tiled with old black and white tiles
• On the left side of the hall, you find the living room with fireplace and a beautifully outworn red brick floor. Look for the large chest which is filled with games for the children.
• On the right side, there is the billiards room with a billiards table and a living
• 1 bedroom with single beds
• Going straight, you reach the fully equipped open kitchen with a large stove and a dining room
• The impressively large fireplace is the eye catcher of the dining room that features a large wooden dining table, a couch, and two comfortable sofa chairs.
• From the kitchen and the dining room, large doors open straight onto the courtyard which leads to the garden
• All rooms have air conditioning
• Separate toilet
• Downstairs there is an additional room where eventually two children can sleep

Upper floor: 

• Bedroom nr 1 with double bed, bath and washbasin and connecting door to bedroom nr 2
• Bedroom nr 2 with double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower
• Bedroom nr 3 with double bed
• Bedroom nr 4 with five single beds and wash basin
• All bedrooms have air conditioning
• Bathroom with bath, separate shower, washbasin, chest of drawers
• Seperate toilet
• A cot can be added in all rooms

Outside:

• A courtyard garden
• A lush green patio full of flowers and plants
• With a marvelous hot tub, an orangery with a built-in BBQ, and an elegant French bistro set.
• A covered lounge area with dining table and a large blackboard with lots of space for creative drawings of the little ones
• A large enclosed garden of 1000m2 with heated swimming pool (6x3m), sunbeds, dining table, and a small sandpit. The fully-grown bushes and plants give ample privacy and limit any view inside the garden from the road.
