With its raw and organic aesthetic, the house is a concrete block cocooned in nature. Contrastingly, the interiors are light and airy, with tall glass windows and sleek wood panels. The architect Franck Martinez built some of the furniture that still features in the house today, with the addition of exclusive furniture and lighting by Serge Mouille, Jean Prouvé, Ligne Roset Togo, Memphis Milano and B&B Italia.
All rooms have a strong sense of connectivity, starting with the living room in the centre. The large and spacious area connects to the bedrooms, kitchen and dining area in all four corners (as in a H shape), as well as the open terrace and the lush woods beyond. The yoga deck and swimming pool are wonderful spots to soak up some sun and revel in the great outdoors.
The best way to enjoy the villa is with nature activities in and around the area. Quercy National Park is nearby, where you can go for a walk or a bike ride along its cliffs and plateaus, and go kayaking or canoeing in the river. The town of Cahors is a short drive from the property, where you can explore its rich history and famous black wine.

The bedrooms are located in the corners of the house. They have floor-to-ceiling windows with sleek wood cupboards and double beds. One of the beds can be separated to create two single beds.

There are two ensuite bathrooms with showers.

The kitchen in the fourth corner has a large island that serves as a small dining area. Here you’ll find a fridge, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. There is a freezer in the outbuilding.

There is also a separate dining area with a wooden table for six guests.

Through the patio doors is the open terrace facing the woods. Here you’ll find a wooden deck with pool lounge chairs and seating areas.

The saltwater pool (15 m x 2 m x 1.4 m) sits on the edge of the terrace, and is filtered throughout the day. It can be heated if needed.

In the outbuilding, there is a tennis table and a charcoal barbeque.
