On the Normandy bay of the Cotentin, close to the picturesque village of Sainte-Mère-Eglise, in the heart of a fully restored estate, you will find Domaine de Ravenoville. This unique ensemble consists of three exceptional 17th-century houses with impressive architecture: Le Manoir (the old country house), Le Pigeonnier (a quirky octagonal building, formerly the dovecote), and Le Pavillon (a pavilion in the heart of a French garden).
Behind the elegant facades, you will be surprised by large light indoor areas with a harmonious mix of modern comfort and a historic classic style. Expect old wooden doors, pastel shades on the walls, draped curtains, classic bathtubs, vintage lamps and antique cabinets. It creates an authentic and dreamy ambiance, fitting in its surroundings.
With 2-4 ensuite bedrooms (suitable for 4-8 people), the houses are ideal for both a summer or winter getaway with family or friends. Spend time playing games next to the warm fireplace in the living room, and enjoy long evenings together in the dining room over dinner. In the summer months, you can have a delicious breakfast outside, take a walk along the gardens of the castle or go to the beach.
Le Domaine de Ravenoville is just 3 km from the famous Utah beach and Ravenoville; perfect for day trips between history, nature and relaxation. Borrow the domain's bicycles for a tour in the countryside, go sailing, surfing, swimming, birdwatching in the 'marais', or visit the lovely towns of Sainte-Mère-Eglise and Barfleur.
