Lemon Grove holiday villa is located in the small village of Priora, nestled on a cliff some 250 meters above sea level, on the beautiful Amalfi coast. There are three villages in the immediate vicinity: Sant'Agata, uphill from Priora, Massa Lubrense and, of course, Sorrento, down on the coast.Guests can take a lovely walk from the property to Sorrento, via small cobbled streets that avoid the main roads, or alternatively take a bus. The Amalfi Coast is not only a beautiful holiday destination; it’s also one of the finest gastronomic areas in Italy, with countless outstanding restaurants. In fact, there’s an extremely good trattoria just two minutes from the property. Naturally, no holiday on the Amalfi Coast is complete without a visit to world famous Capri or Pompeii. Closer to the holiday villa itself, guests can take a half hour walk to the summit of Monte San Costanzo and admire impressive views of Capri and the Amalfi Coast. The beaches are extremely beautiful and there are several small coves that are well worth exploring by boat. You can hire a ‘Gozzo’ (a traditional Italian fishing boat) in Marina della Lobra or Marina del Cantone without the need for a license. From there you can sail to the stunning island of Capri, basking in clear blue waters, or to Positano and Amalfi. Sailing in this part of the coast, much of which is a marine reserve, is a truly unforgettable experience.
This enchanting holiday villa, nestled in the beautiful hills above Sorrento on the Amalfi coast and furnished in contemporary style, has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard. The house has long been in the hands of an Italian family who, with the help of an architect, have transformed it into a delightful holiday home. Indeed, the villa manages to retain all the charm of an older property, yet is still fully equipped to modern standards.
The Gulf of Naples and Sorrento Bay, with its famous lemon trees, is internationally renowned. Sorrento is the main tourist attraction, with a wide range of shops, restaurants and other amenities. The climate is extremely mild, making it a pleasant destination from March to December. The house is located in the small, tranquil village of Priora, at an altitude of 250 m, and boasts a roof terrace with unrivalled views over the Amalfi Coast.
