Built in 1930 by architect Louis Lagrange, the villa received an awe-inspiring makeover. French designer Dorothée Delaye created a Californian beach house interior in a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere with bold high-gloss colors and artful nods to the surfing world. Furniture was custom-made by local craftsmen - with as a highlight a huge surf dining table - and fashionable design pieces, artwork, and vintage photographs are scattered throughout.
The villa has six en-suite bedrooms plus a fantastic bed- and playroom aptly named “Kids Paradise” with a huge Lego wall and other games and surprises. On the ground floor, there is a bright living room and professional kitchen and in the basement, a cinema room where young and old can enjoy a wide range of films.
To make your holiday completely carefree, there is a dedicated house manager, a daily breakfast service, and a luxurious XL minibar (L'Épicerie) with regional products and drinks. You can also choose from signature experiences such as surfing with local star Marc Lacomare, mountain biking in the countryside, a tasting of "barbecue-pintxos" (tapas), or a massage in the spa cabin of the house. Oh, and to top it all all of you will be cruising over the property and beyond in your very own electric mini car!
Outside, the heated pool sparkles, and in the "Garage" surfboards, paddle boards, canoes, and fat bikes are available to enjoy the California way of life! When booking, a deposit of 50% of the reservation amount is required. The remainder must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the start of your stay. When booking within the period of 6 weeks, the total reservation sum is to be paid immediately. In case of a cancellation more than 6 weeks before the start of your stay, 0% of the deposit will be returned. In case of cancellation within the period of 6 weeks no refund will be made. We therefore recommend a cancellation insurance.
The owners ask for a security deposit of 10,000 euros, which has to be paid in advance to Nice2stay. You will receive a payment request 1 week before your arrival. If you leave the accommodation clean and no damage is found, the deposit will be returned within 14 days.
A tourist tax at the rate of 4 euros per person per night is to be paid upon arrival.

Les Bords du Lac is located on the shores of the Lac d'Hossegor marine lake, on the Landes coast in South West France. The village of Hossegor (6 km) provides you with all your daily amenities and is an ideal place for foodies with excellent restaurants and attractive beach huts.
With beautiful dunes, pine forests, and an inviting sea lake, this coastal strip is a dream place for surf and water sports enthusiasts with numerous surfing and water sports options but also beaches to relax.
La Gravière (1.5 km), Les Culs Nuls (1.5 km), and Les Estagnots (3 km) are all legendary beaches where you can surf and sunbathe, which you can also reach by bike. In addition, you have direct access from the house to the beautiful Plage Blanche on Lake Hossegor.
Hikers will find numerous hiking and cycling trails in the vast pine forests of Les Landes and golfers can choose from no less than five golf courses nearby, including Golf d'Hossegor (3 km), Golf Seignosse (5 km) and Golf De Pinsolle (15 km).
The elegant seaside resort of Biarritz (40 km) and the medieval town of Bayonne (28 km) are also well worth a day trip.
