Lou Calen stands as a remarkable hotel within the heart of Cotignac village, nestled in the picturesque Var department of Provence. Tucked away within lush greenery, this hidden gem boasts three outdoor pools - one exclusively for adults - a prestigious Michelin-starred dining venue, an artisanal brasserie, an engaging art center, and a delightful summer wine bar. Adding to its allure, select suites offer spacious accommodations within their own private terrasses, ensuring a truly intimate and exclusive experience.

Ecology, experience, and natural are the keywords of Lou Calen, a beautiful retreat where you can immerse yourself in nature and local culture, and enjoy a special holiday experience as a couple or with the family. For this, Lou Calen has a range of facilities and experiences that do not require you to leave the estate.

A breakfast buffet is ready for you every morning, after which you can go hiking or cycling to explore the area or play tennis on the private court. Then relax by the heated swimming pool or take part in yoga classes or (creative) workshops in the botanical garden or lavender fields, or help with the harvest of truffles, grapes, or saffron. In the evening, the bar is open for an aperitif and you can enjoy a delicious meal in the bistro or restaurant.

Lou Calen's 34 suites and rooms are divided between the historic hotel adjacent to the main square of the village, and the Mico Hamlet with its three hectares of open green spaces and beautiful landscapes. Each room is unique, but all are carefully decorated with soft colors, natural materials and equipped with all modern comforts. Many rooms have a private terrace or balcony and some can accommodate extra beds for children. Moreover, there are suites with their own kitchen or a wonderful freestanding bath or steam shower!

A stone's throw away is pretty Cotignac (awarded the Most Beautiful Village in France in 2022) for a stroll through its charming streets and nearby are historic towns, ancient vineyards, and troglodyte dwellings to explore. But also Lac de Sainte Croix, the Gorges du Verdon, and the French Riviera are not far away for a day out.
