Maison Cambrousse consists of two houses; the main house with 5 bedrooms and a spacious open living with a sitting area (with fireplace), farm table, and well-equipped kitchen. The adjacent small house has a large work area and a further 2 bedrooms upstairs, making the accommodation suitable for 14 people to sleep, relax by the fire, and share good meals with friends. Outside in the lush garden, you will find terraces on different levels with a dining table for al-fresco BBQ dinners, seating areas in and out of the sun, and a heated pool with sweeping views over the fields. Children will never be bored here in the garden and the water (the swimming pool can be safely covered) and with the games and books available in the house.
The area offers something for everyone, with charming villages, historic towns such as Chartres, ancient castles, and forests for walking and cycling. Lake Mezières is only 15 minutes away for water sports and, as a highlight, the city of Paris that you can reach from Dreux with an easy train ride.
