The Dutch owners Sven and Sandra have renovated this authentic house while retaining its charm and typical Périgourdine style. The interior is a mix of modern and rustic styles with extensive use of neutral tones and natural materials that create a warm ambiance while subtle industrial accents provide a contemporary flair.
On the ground floor are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, and an attractive living room with a dining table and cozy seating area overlooking the front garden full of fruit trees. Outside of summer, you can rent also only this part of the house. On the top floor - accessible via an external staircase - you will find a second kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms, ideal for traveling grandparents or teens who want a bit of extra privacy. Play your favorite music (in and outdoor Sonos system).
Maison Saint-Blaise is a real family home with numerous activities and games for the children. They can go on a treasure hunt in the private fenced mini-forest, play a game of darts, ping-pong, or pétanque, and enjoy the water in the heated swimming pool while the parents rest on the sunbeds or enjoy a good book in the hammocks. In the evening you can enjoy all together a barbecue together at the outdoor dining table.
There is also plenty to do and see nearby, visit the nearby bastide villages of Monpazier or Villeréal, explore the castles and farmers' markets nearby, or go canoeing on the Dordogne River. Here you will find all the ingredients for a relaxing family stay!

Maison Saint-Blaise is a charming holiday house located in the middle of a large private park with a heated swimming pool and plenty of places in and out of the sun to relax and play. It is a perfect family home and a comfortable home base for excursions in the area.
Layout Maison Saint Blaise | 10-12 people | 220m2
Ground floor for 6 + 1:
- Very spacious kitchen with a fireplace and all modern appliances including an American refrigerator, microwave, oven, gas hob, air fryer, toaster, dishwasher, and washing machine. There is a separate coffee corner in the kitchen with a Nespresso machine, a milk frother, a classic coffee maker, and a kettle.
- Large living/dining room with a reading area, large sideboard, wooden dining table for 12 people, and a sitting area with Smart TV.
- Three bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink (one of the bathrooms has a bath/shower). Two bedrooms have a double bed (180x200cm) and one bedroom has two single beds that can be put together. One of the rooms has a sofa bed for a kid.
First floor for 4 +1 (only accesible from outside):
- A second fully equipped kitchen with, among other things, an oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas hob, oven, Nespresso machine and a washing machine
- A second living/dining room with a sitting area with smart television and a dining area
- Two bedrooms, one with a double bed (180x200cm) and one with two single beds. One of the rooms has a sofa bed for a kid.
- A bathroom with a shower and sink and a separate toilet
Outside (16,000m2!):
- The house is surrounded by an enclosed garden of no less than 16,000 m2 with mature trees and some hammocks.
- Next to the house is a large terrace with a dining table for 12 people and a Weber gas barbecue
- Adjacent is the heated swimming pool (10x5m / 180cm deep) with a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. The swimming pool is open from April to October and can be closed with a cover. There is an outdoor shower (solar-powered).
- Second terrace on the side of the house
