The Monopolio Art Deco Apartment is located in a beautiful historic district of the town of Zakynthos, located on the Greek island of the same name. The apartment has an elegant art deco style and offers a beautiful and unobstructed view of the sea and the main harbour of the island.
The modern interior combines warm tones, wooden furniture, ceramic vases and beautiful paintings. The dark and very well equipped kitchen and the living room with fireplace and piano (!) form the centre of the apartment - with acces to the spacious balcony. The floor-to-ceiling sliding doors let you enjoy the infinite blue of the sea and the passing yachts, ferries and fishing boats. The apartment also has three hotel-worthy bedrooms (for five people) and two modern bathrooms.
From the balcony, which covers the entire width of the house, you can enjoy the colours of the sunset with a good glass of wine. Stepping out of the door, you are in the bustling centre of the city in a few minutes and a series of paradisiacal beaches can be found a short distance away from Monopolio Art Deco Apartment. Beautiful coastal towns, picturesque villages with ancient traditions and the unspoilt mountainous interior are also just a short drive away.

The island of Zakynthos is a popular destination not only for its fabulous beaches, but also for its beautiful architecture, bustling coastal towns and unique attractions such as Shipwreck Beach (35 km) and the Blue Caves (35.5 km). At the same time, in the rugged interior you will find many vineyards and olive groves and unspoiled villages where you can still experience an authentic Greek atmosphere.
Monopolio Art Deco Apartment has an exclusive location: floating above the largest harbour of Zakynthos and a few minutes walk from the central Dionysios Solomos square (200 metres) directly at the harbour. Zakynthos is a not too busy town and bursting with typical Greek culture. Explore the city and its many winding streets, restaurants and terraces. From the harbour, you can take all kinds of fun boat trips, such as a trip around the island to the breathtaking Blue Caves.
You should also definitely visit the Bochali viewpoint (1.1 km). Bochali is a small village located on the top of the promontory that rises at the back of Zakynthos Town. The view of the town and the harbour is absolutely breathtaking!
Enjoy a beach day at one of the paradise-like beaches on this island. For example, drive to the nearby beach Plaz EOT (900 metres). A little further away are the beautiful sandy beaches of Krioneri (2 km), Tsilivi (5,5 km) and Amboula (9 km). Other beautiful beaches can be found within a 20-minute drive such as Laganas Beach (9 km) and a little further away Kalamaki Beach (7 km) or to the north around the village of Volimes (32 km), where you will find many small and hidden beaches.
If you're in for a night out, head to Laganas (9 km). A vibrant nightlife and kilometres of sandy beach make Laganas one of the most sought-after locations on the island. In contrast, you will find peace and traditions in the rugged north of the island.
The international airport of Zakynthos is 5 km away.
