Nebesa consists of four modern minimalist chalets perfectly positioned at the foot of Slovenian Kuk Mountain, with spectacular views of the surrounding Soca Valley, the peaks of Julian Alps, Triglav National Park and Adriatic sea on the horizon. An ideal place for nature lovers, outdoor sports enthusiasts, and those looking for a peaceful getaway away of the beaten track.

The chalets-for-two are architectural gems. They are made of wood and have a large glass façade at the front that offers a view of the impressive mountain landscape and access to your private terrace from where you can spot wild red deer and sheep in the surrounding meadow. The chalets are identical, furnished in a Scandinavian style, and very well equipped with an open-plan living, kitchenette, and a nice bathroom on the ground floor. On a mezzanine floor - accessible from the living room - is a comfortable double bed.

In your chalet, you will find all products for your breakfast and in the communal kitchen (with dining room and terrace) you can serve yourself with (homemade) delicacies such as cold cuts and cheese as well as water and regional wine, ideal for a light lunch. In the evening you can cook for yourself or go out for dinner in one of the restaurants in the vicinity. The famous Michelin star restaurant Hiša Franko is only a 15-minute drive away!

The friendly owners and their family are on hand to welcome you and give many suggestions for local activities. Spend your days hiking, borrow a mountain bike, or go rafting and canoeing on the Soca River. When you return, the wellness center (with a view!) including Finnish, herbal, and infrared saunas guarantees pure relaxation. At Nebesa, you will find everything you need for an exceptional stay, full of peace, and privacy!

Beautiful stay for 2 persons with unique view in Goriška

Nebesa is a small-scale accommodation that has 4 identical chalets that each can accommodate two people. The chalets are furnished as follows:

  • On the ground floor is a large open-plan living room with a flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player, and WiFi.
  • There is a small kitchen including a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, and coffee and tea making facilities.
  • A staircase in the living room leads to a mezzanine floor with a double bed.
  • Downstairs is the bathroom with a spacious shower, toilet, sink, bathrobes, and care products
  • Each chalet also has its own terrace with a table and chairs

In the main building, you will find a larger communal kitchen with an adjoining cozy dining area and a terrace with various tables.

Food @ Nebesa
Breakfast is included in your stay. You will find, among others, yogurt, fruit juice, milk, and cheese in your fridge. Muesli, tea, and coffee are in the kitchen cupboard and you can also get bread and jam in the communal kitchen. Here you will also find (free) snacks and homemade treats such as prosciutto, homemade salami, hard cheeses, and crackers as well as house wine from the wine cellar, craft beer, and non-alcoholic drinks; ideal for lunch.

A selection of excellent wines is also available in the honesty bar (available at cost price).

In the evening you can cook for yourself (there is a supermarket in Kobarid, a 15-minute-drive) or go out for dinner. The owners can give you many tips for good places to eat. Close by is Restaurant Hiša Franko, the first restaurant in Slovenia with Michelin stars, only 15 minutes away. The restaurant's chef is Ana, the owners' daughter. So if you have something special to celebrate, you can also book a table in this restaurant. Note that you need to book well in advance, the restaurant is very popular.

Wellness Center @ Nebesa
The wellness area is equipped with a classic Finnish sauna, bio sauna with aromatherapy, and infrared sauna with chromotherapy. There is also a Kneipp corner, a fitness room, and a common room with a fireplace. Guests have the option to get a time slot so that they can use the sauna completely privately.

During your stay, you can also make free use of Nebesa electrical mountain bikes, which is very helpful in the hilly and steep terrain.
