A sustainable approach! Number 18 has plenty of eco qualities which makes it a truly eco-friendly getaway:
- The house has an A4 energy rating, the highest possible in Italy.
- All rainwater is stored (capacity up to 43,000 litres) and reused for irrigation of the plants and vegetables, which you will find as part of the welcome pack.
- All taps in the house have water-saving devices as standard
- Solar panels are used for hot water production. Photovoltaic panels and battery storage are used for electricity generation to reduce on-grid-fed electricity by 80-90%. The remaining electricity is supplied by Sonnen, who generate electricity using wind.
- Central heating is sourced by pellets with an ecological and environmentally friendly boiler
- Waste is recycled (paper, plastic, and food waste)
