Old Silk Farm can be rented as a large villa with 7 bedrooms for 17 people in peak season. Out of season you can alternatively opt to rent the main house with 3 bedrooms (sleeps 9 people) in isolation. Countless guests have gone before you, leaving rave reviews about the property’s superior accommodation, its suitability for family holidays, complete privacy and inspiring environment. The large, saltwater swimming pool (11 metres) can also be heated, making swimming out of season perfectly feasible. The Old Silk Farm is situated on a hill overlooking the Rhone valley, a few kilometers from the village of Rochemaure with its spectacular cliff top castle. 7 km away is the town of Montelimar in the province Drôme. This is a larger city known for its production of nougat. The Drôme is known for its orchards, lavender fields and olive groves. Rochemaure itself is a small medieval village with narrow alleys. Nevertheless, you will find a pharmacy, general grocer and butcher, wine merchant and best of all ... two great artisan bakers.
