Pica Pau is a spacious and modern villa of 280 m2 in a beautiful area in the Portuguese countryside. The villa has a large terrace including a swimming pool and is therefore ideal for families. A total of eight people can stay comfortably, and thanks to the light and sleek design, this villa will provide a peaceful and calm feeling for each of its guests.

The bedrooms

• Pica Pau has four bedrooms, two of which have a double bed and the other two have two single beds that can be pushed together if necessary. The beds are box-spring beds with a size of either 180x200 or 90x200. The furniture is from the high-quality Ethnicraft brand.
• The bedrooms are quiet and brightly decorated and all bedrooms catch a lot of light. As a result, you will wake up rested and energetic every morning.
• The bedrooms all have enough storage space to neatly put away all your clothes and other belongings.
• The villa has only one floor and a lower floor near the pool, which means that all bedrooms are on the ground floor.

The bathrooms

• Pica Pau has four bathrooms, all linked to the bedrooms. In addition, the villa has a separate guest toilet and dressing room.
• The bathrooms all have a rain shower, a toilet, a sink, a hair dryer, and space to leave clothes and towels.
• The style and decor of the bathrooms are in line with the rest of the villa, which is quiet and calm.

The kitchen

• Pica Pau's kitchen has everything you need. It includes a blender, two espresso machines, an oven, two Siemens dishwashers, two refrigerators, a freezer, a large induction hob, a grill, a toaster, a Kenwood food processor, a wine fridge, and a kettle.
• The kitchen is sterile and receives a lot of natural light. Because the kitchen overlooks the living room, it is a nice place to be and you can easily stay connected with the people in the living room or in the garden.

The living

• The living room of Pica Pau is very spacious and offers many possibilities. In one part of the room is the wooden dining table that can seat eight people and is logically placed in relation to the kitchen. Ideal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner together when it is a little too cold outside.
• In the other part of the living, there is the lounge area. Here you will find two comfortable white sofas, two comfortable chairs, tables to set up snacks, drinks, or games, and a smart TV with a Netflix function. There is also a Bluetooth speaker and a well-functioning WiFi.
• The living room gets a lot of natural light from the large windows of the terrace.

The terrace

• The terrace of Pica Pau is no less than 300m2 and the overall garden of the villa is 9000m2. Outside on the terrace, you will find a fireplace.
• The garden is closed off with a fence, so no one can just enter.
• The villa has a saltwater pool of 1.70m deep, 4m wide, and 10m long. The swimming pool overlooks the beautiful garden and Portuguese nature.
• The pool area includes sun loungers and large parasols. In the warm summer months, this is the perfect place to cool off from the southern European sun.
• Under the pergola is a large dining table, again suitable for eight people. The dining table has both a barbecue and a Portuguese wood-burning oven, which is ideal for making bread, pizzas, or fish in a salt crust. You will also find a sink here.
• The terrace is well lit making it the perfect place to dine late into the evening while the rest of the Portuguese area slowly darkens.

Other

• There is a laundry room in the villa with a Miele washing machine and dryer and an iron.
• In the colder winter months, it is still nice and comfortable to stay in Pica Pau, thanks to the underfloor heating.
• It is possible to book a grocery package.
• A therapeutic massage can also be booked on request.
• Parking spaces are available.
• Towels, bath towels, and bed linen are provided for each guest.
