Quinta da Palmeira Encantada is a charming holiday home situated in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. The recently renovated Quinta dates back to 1811 and boasts an exceptionally convenient location – close to the Rio Formosa National Park, it’s also only 15 minutes drive to a number of beautiful beaches and just 10 minutes from the historical cities of Faro and Loule.

Guests are guaranteed a thoroughly memorable stay at this lovely holiday villa with private swimming pool. Relax and unwind in rural seclusion, with the shimmering blue waters of the Mediterranean to the distance, and soak up glorious meadow views, with the owners’ beloved farm animals (piglet Buddha, horse Dacotha and a handful of chickens and geese) pottering around contentedly in the background. We love the traditional farmhouse style that features wood-beamed ceilings, whitewashed walls, terracotta tiles, and tasteful interiors decorated with renowned lifestyle furniture and accessories (HKLiving, Senza). The holiday home benefits from a variety of superior facilities, including air conditioning (in bedrooms), high quality beds and bed linens, a large swimming pool and small bar with BBQ (BeafEater for boiling and grilling). And, with a sports field, complete with trampoline and volleyball net, Quinta da Palmeira Encantada is simply ideal for families!

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom holiday home comfortably accommodates 8 people. The main bedroom additionally benefits from a loft, which is suitable for (not too young) children. There’s also a cosy lounge with fireplace and an open-plan kitchen with dining area. The Zenhuis - a yoga (classes), meditation and massage room (the owner is a professional masseur) - is a particularly luxurious feature. Although its Dutch owners live within the estate grounds, you’ll enjoy complete seclusion in your own private holiday home with swimming pool. Guests can also take full advantage of the numerous luxurious extras on offer, including vegetables from the garden, massages, yoga classes and unique tips for memorable day trips and excursions.

The layout of the Quinta:  

  • Accommodation is all on one level
  • Cosy lounge with TV and fireplace
  • Simple kitchen with dining area

There are three spacious bedrooms in total. They boast:  

  • Good quality beds
  • Air conditioning and mosquito screens
