Rempart 16 is situated at the foot of the ruins of the castle of Boulbon, on a cobbled car-free village street. Behind a medieval stone facade, an exceptional residence unfolds: eye-catching design furniture and art pieces sparkle in the sun-drenched living spaces. Spread over several floors, you will find 5 bright bedrooms and 6 luxurious bathrooms, complete with linen by Society Limonta and personal care products by Aesop.
The two living rooms both feature an fireplace and inviting lounge areas. Enjoy a morning coffee here and browse through one of the inspiring coffee table books. The kitchen, too, has been renovated to perfection: professional equipment shines against the old stone wall and the windows overlook the dreamy courtyard garden.
Outside, there are several terraces on different levels, so you can find a nice spot at any time of the day. Enjoy an al-fresco lunch or dinner at the long dining table and end the day with a drink on the lounge sofas above the swimming pool, built between reclaimed stone walls. You will also have a wonderful view of the castle and the city walls of Boulon. A stylish holiday in the South of France, in a luxurious design setting for 8 p
Rempart 16 is a truly unique holiday home, located within the city walls of the Provençal village of Boulbon. Old and new are banned here: modern bathrooms with traditional chrome taps, TV and speakers by Bang & Olufsen, steel doors, a beautiful plunge pool. The house can comfortably accommodate 8-10 people (more than 8 people only on request) in 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
Because the house consists of what used to be 3 different village houses, the bedrooms and living rooms are spread over different areas. This ensures plenty of peace and privacy for all guests and means plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their holiday.
- Kindly note that due to the Medieval stairs and steps the house is not suitable for people with mobility limitations and small children should always be supervised by their parents.
Layout Rempart 16:
- The house has several entrances. Through the main entrance you enter the entrance hall with a guest toilet,
- A few steps up you will find the first bedroom, with double bed and built-in wardrobe.
- Separate bathroom with spacious shower and double washbasin.
- A few more steps up you will find the second bedroom with double bed, built-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, washbasin and spacious shower.
- Down a small staircase again, you will find the first living room with spacious sitting area and large fireplace. In the original built-in cupboard you will find the TV and Bang & Olufsen speakers.
- Further on is the dining room, with a long dining table for 10 people and behind it the half-open kitchen. The kitchen has been very nicely renovated and is equipped with, among others: a Viking cooker with oven, dishwasher, fridge with ice machine, freezer, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and a pantry full of beautiful tableware.
- Separate toilet
- Behind the kitchen you will find an extra bathroom with a bathtub and a washbasin
- Further on, the stairs lead up to the third bedroom with a double bed, clothes storage and a seating area
- Further on you will find the 'library' with a bookcase full of books and a desk. Behind it is the second living room with sitting area, fireplace and again a TV with Bang & Olufsen speaker.
- From this living room a medieval spiral staircase leads to the fourth bedroom, with two double beds, clothes storage and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, spacious shower and washbasin.
- At the end of the staircase you will find the last bedroom with two double beds, clothes storage and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, large shower and washbasin.
- Laundry room with beautiful red wooden cupboards, equipped with a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.
Outside:
- Outside, in the old courtyard of the house, you will find several terraces, on different levels. You will find two dining tables, lounge areas, an outdoor shower and a plunge pool.
- There are free parking spaces on the street parallel to the house. Although the street of Rempart 16 is car-free, you can unload your luggage at the door.
