The phenomenal Residenza Hortus provides room for up to 6 people. The house is ideal for families with older children and (befriended) couples. This remarkable home with its gorgeous style gives you the chance to take Sicily in the best possible way and in complete privacy!

The two-story Residenza Hortus (175m2) is divided over a living room, a large kitchen with wine cellar, three bedrooms each with its own small bathroom, a private spa plus an attractive walled garden and a terrace.

Layout:

• The bright living room has fabulous high vaulted ceilings and features two comfortable sofas and unique contemporary art on the wall (of the hand of the owner, Luca Giannini).
• A stone arch divides the living room from the spacious fully equipped kitchen/dining room boasting an eye-catching luxury cooking island and dining table to eat all together.
• Via an iron staircase, you can reach the wine cellar where you can pick a good bottle of wine to accompany your meal!
• The house has three marvelous compact bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor. Each bedroom is designed in minimalist style and has a comfortable bed with memory-foam mattresses.
• The bedrooms are decorated with beautiful details, such as a cozy fireplace or carved stone in different patterns, personally designed by the owner Luca. All bedrooms have a (small) private bathroom with shower, heated towel rails, and captivating stone sinks.
• One bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom – situated on the upper floor - has a queen-size bed and via French doors access to a breathtaking (large) terrace.
• The third bedroom has a unique round bed and a small, triangular, stone bath in the room itself.

The Hortus (170 m2):

It is not only marvelous to stay inside but the Mediterranean climate allows to enjoy the outdoors as well. Hortus Residenza owes its name to the courtyard garden that belongs to the house. A captivating place filled with fruit trees, built with stone in the same style as the house. Here you will find:

• A hot tub
• Comfortable garden furniture from the Italian design brand Paola Lenti. The colorful designs give the garden a stylish look and allow to enjoy the quietness in full comfort.
• Plenty of privacy thanks to the walled garden
• A large garden table accommodating easily ten people, thus inviting people to dinner is not a problem.
• Besides the garden, there is on the first floor of the house, adjacent to one of the bedrooms, a large terrace overlooking the cathedral of Sant Giorgo. A place more romantic than this is almost impossible!
