Beautiful, spacious apartment, located on several levels. The large living area gives his attention to the fireplace that stands out with its unique design on the stone walls, in front of the living room and beautiful kitchen, while at the lower level the double bedroom that hides, between the doors of the wardrobe ... even the room toilet! Reservations are considered valid after receiving a pre-payment of 30% of the total rental costs. The outstanding balance must be paid 6 weeks before the day of arrival. If your booking is done within 6 weeks before arrival, you are required to pay the full amount immediately. In case of cancellation more than 6 weeks before arrival 50% of the pre-payment will be refunded. No refund will take place in case of cancellation within 6 weeks before arrival. We therefore strongly recommend a travel insurance.
The owners request a deposit of 500 Euro. Upon arrival, the owners will ask you to authorize your credit card. An amount of 500 euros will then be reserved on your card. The cost of the deposit will not be charged if no damage to the apartment has been detected on departure.
Heating costs are exclusive, which you'll pay at the end of your stay. Costs per kWh are 30 euro cents. This way, you'll contribute to safeguarding the environment and the planet during your stay at Sasso al Melo by being conscious of all expenses.

Sasso al Melo is a lovely accommodation situated in the mountains of Tuscany. There are five apartments, all in the same style, renovated and furnished with considerable attention to detail. Surrounded by nature, the two houses are situated high in the Apennines, halfway Lucca and Florence; fantastic scenery that could perfectly serve as the setting for a movie. It is close to the picturesque village of Cutigliano and 15 minutes from Doganaccia and Abetone, two charming towns on the border between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. In winter, these villages turn into the major ski resorts of Tuscany while in the summer, they offer plenty of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, fishing and horseback riding.
