Sasso al Melo is a lovely accommodation situated in the mountains of Tuscany. There are five apartments, all in the same style, renovated and furnished with considerable attention to detail. Surrounded by nature, the two houses are situated high in the Apennines, halfway Lucca and Florence; with fantastic scenery that could perfectly serve as the setting for a movie. It is close to the picturesque village of Cutigliano and 15 minutes from Doganaccia and Abetone, two charming towns on the border between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. In winter, these villages turn into the major ski resorts of Tuscany while in the summer, they offer plenty of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, fishing and horseback riding.
Guests at Sasso al Melo enjoy the charming little communal pool (10 x 3 m, heated by solar collectors and a jet stream!), the BBQ/pizza oven and a laundry room with washer and dryer. For children, there is a tree house, in a lower-positioned part of the forest.
