Schilana 80 | Beautiful chalet in the Swiss Alps with panoramic views

In the middle of the small mountain village of Ramosch, at an altitude of 1,230 m, is set Schilana 80, surrounded by a peaceful mountain backdrop. This typical 300-year-old Engadine house was carefully renovated by the local architect Duri Vital, preserving the historic building. Its numerous traditional windows and Sgraffito decorative elements on the facade are complemented by all contemporary modern comforts.
Inside, the interiors are finished to a high standard. Selected antique Alpine-style furniture, exclusive from the region, and wooden floors and walls provide a warm and homely ambiance. With 350m2 of living space, Schilana 80 offers enough space for 12 people. It is a perfect holiday spot for families or friends who find plenty of areas to get together but can also seek privacy on one of the four floors of the house.
As in the past, the massive entrance door leads to a so-called Sulèr, a central entrance hall, which today has been transformed into a dining room with a long table. The living room, Stube, is clad in old larch wood and invites you to convivial family moments. The modern kitchen opens onto the panoramic sun terrace with a beautiful view of the impressive mountain landscape.
A music room (with piano) and three bedrooms are on the first floor and the attic has been beautifully converted into an open-plan living area with a fireplace, billiard table, and ensuite bedroom. The wooden gate in the cellar leads to the former stable, where a spacious private sauna invites you to relax!
The surroundings offer numerous opportunities for mountain activities from hiking, mountain biking to winter sports and sleigh rides, but you can also enjoy the traditional architecture, culture, and gastronomy in the surrounding villages.
