In the middle of the green and rural landscape of northern Portugal lies Terra Rosa Country House & Vineyards. This old wine farm (a quinta) dates from 1758 and has been transformed into a beautiful place where you can sit back, take a walk and (re)discover yourself. From the furniture in the beautiful suites, to the local dishes in the restaurant: a lot of attention has been put into creating this beautiful place. 

This authentic quinta is tucked away in the green landscape of Minho, a beautiful region in northern Portugal. You arrive via a long driveway lined with cypresses, which runs between the vineyards. There are four traditional houses from the region on the property. These houses seem to form a small village, with a large square in the middle, where you meet in the evening for a movie in the open air or enjoy a drink in front of the fire. The quinta and its authentic houses still bear the traces of the functions that this working farm used to have. 

Terra Rosa has seven double rooms, three of which are suites with a living room. There is also a kitchen and large living and dining room for luxurious breakfasts and light meals during the day. The rooms are decorated with natural materials, such as wood, wicker and bamboo. These characterful materials are complemented by antique furniture, stone artwork and beautiful natural tones. This is a place where you will immediately feel at home. And should you wish to take a little of this atmosphere with you, you are in luck: everything you see is available for purchase. 

Life at Terra Rosa is slow and relaxing. You can enjoy the silence in one of the cozy corners of the domain, under the shade of the old olive trees. You can also take a dip in the large heated swimming pool, follow one of the workshops, walk along the river Neiva or ride horses on the estate. Several special experiences are offered both on and off the farm and the staff at Terra Rosa will do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
