The Hunting Lodge, a luxury villa in Andalucía, is fitted with every thinkable modern convenience. The house, which is the second project by owners Alan and Marc, was recently completely remodeled and updated. It stands on the same estate as Cortijo el Carligto, but you won’t even notice that there is another property on the estate. The houses are set so far apart that you will feel surrounded by complete privacy during your stay at The Hunting Lodge.
The contemporary interior of The Hunting Lodge is an attractive mix of crisp white walls and furniture with surprising, colorful details and decorations, which give the house that laid-back, bohemian atmosphere. Carefully selected pieces of local art add extra personality to the villa, which is a great place to visit any time of the year; the open fireplace, underfloor heating, and air conditioning ensure you have a comfortable holiday experience in every season. Sun panels and a highly efficient heat pump leave a minimal ecologic imprint.
The Hunting Lodge has a total living space of +/- 200 m2.
The lay-out:
- When you enter the house, the first thing you will see is the huge, open living space of one hundred square meters. The fully equipped, open kitchen is connected to a light, airy living room. The kitchen has every thinkable convenience; a large cooler/fridge combination, espresso machine, iPod docking station, large cooking island with a dishwasher and a multitude of cooking books to awaken your zest for preparing delicious meals.
- Colorful art adorns the walls throughout the house. The art is even up for sale, should you fall in love with a certain piece during your stay.
- The living room of The Hunting Lodge is a beautiful open space; subdued color shades create a relaxed atmosphere, there is an open fire place, comfortable furniture and a TV with a multitude of channels –An extra toilet is located right next to the living room.
- All three bedrooms offer a maximum of comfort; each has its own private bathroom with a shower and a toilet. One has a double bed, an extra workroom with a desk and a seating area. The second bedroom has two single beds. The master bedroom is pure luxury; it has a spacious, marble bathroom with a large bath and a separate shower, TV entertainment and a covered terrace plus a garden with loungers. Just lay back and take in the marvelous view over the Mediterranean Sea...

The lay-out:
- A traditional wooden door opens onto a large patio with a lavish outdoor kitchen complete with a sink, oven, stovetop cooker, open fireplace, built-in bread/pizza oven and BBQ, plus a large dining table under the covered terrace. The mild outside climate will probably inspire you to spend most of your meals at this table, while you enjoy the fantastic view.
- A lavish garden with several terraces and lounge spots surrounds the house. In the garden, you will also find a child-safe (lockable) swimming pool with a poolside shower. During cooler periods, the pool can be heated for an additional cost.
- The upper terrace is an exotic oasis of tranquillity with day beds and an outdoor area under the covered summer lounge terrace; a perfect spot for an outdoor siesta! You can doze off surrounded by flowers and plants, combined with the most spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. Sleep well…
- The intimate patio doubles as a pleasantly shady outdoor living area. A covered lounge bed under the palm trees is an idyllic spot to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that surrounds you.
- A small lawn with flowers and plants lies right next to the upper terrace; a perfect spot for an early-morning meditation or playing area for smaller children.
- You are free to take your pick from the small vegetable/herb garden, which is located in an extraordinary spot; the ruins of the former siesta cottage.
