Torre de Palma was created from the remains of an old house dating from 1338 and is characterized by its typical whitewashed walls and red roofs. The hotel has 19 rooms divided into four categories, which are all housed in the main building or the independent old tenants’ houses. The rooms are ideal for families with children and couples.

All rooms and suites are equipped with comfortable beds, air conditioning, underfloor heating in the bathroom, Castelbel brand care products, bathrobes and slippers, as well as WIFI-internet, an iPod dock, and LCD TV.

• These rooms are in the main building and are classically and elegantly decorated in various colors. 
• The room has a double bed (which can also be made up as two single beds), a beautiful wooden floor, and carefully chosen decorations in harmony with the color of the room.

• These spacious rooms have a private living area with a sofa or comfortable chairs, a table, and a desk, as well as a private outdoor area (terrace or balcony).
• The rooms have a double bed, which can also be made up as two single beds. 
• The Superior Double Room can also accommodate two extra beds (upon prior request and subject to hotel availability). Free extra bed for children up to 12 years old, from 12 years is charged 45.00 Euros per night/bed. 
• The rooms are beautifully decorated in natural colors and with carefully selected accessories and fabrics. 

In some of these rooms, extra beds and/or a baby bed can be added.

Junior Suite | 47m2 | 2 adults + 2 children

• The Junior Suites are typical Alentejo houses with access to the internal patio. Bathed in natural light, these rooms include a living room and a private bathroom. Perfect for families, they are very comfortable and decorated with unique, traditional items. 
• 2 Adults, area between 47sqm - 52sqm | 1 Queen-Size bed or 2 individual beds.
• The Junior Suite can also accommodate two extra beds (upon prior request and subject to hotel availability). Free extra bed for children up to 12 years old, from 12 years is charged 45.00 Euros per night/bed. 
• This suite has country chic decoration, air-conditioned, satellite TV, and an iPod dock. Other amenities include a minibar, fireplace, kettle, and safety deposit box. The private bathroom is provided with a hairdryer and bath amenities.

Master Suite | 84m2 | 5 people (2 adults + 3 children)

• This exclusive suite is accentuated with earth tones and natural elements that provide an intimate connection with the Alentejo landscape.
• The suite has a bedroom with a double bed and a desk.
• The Master Suite can also accommodate two extra beds (upon prior request and subject to hotel availability). Free extra bed for children up to 12 years old, from 12 years is charged 45.00 Euros per night/bed. 
• There are two bathrooms; one is equipped with a bath and the other one with a shower.
• The very spacious open living features a large modern corner sofa, a dining table with chairs, a cupboard, and a kitchen unit that is equipped with a refrigerator, an oven/microwave combination, and two 2-burner hobs. 
• The staircase in the living leads to a mezzanine with a sofa bed for two children. A third child can sleep on the sofa in the living room.
• This suite has a private pool!

Outside @Torre de Palma

• The hotel is set on a large estate containing vineyards of (self-blended) Portuguese indigenous varieties, an organic vegetable garden, an orchard, and a small olive grove. A beautiful natural environment where young and old can relax and play. In the evening, the estate is lit with candles and creates a magical atmosphere.
• The eye-catcher outside is the authentic tower that offers a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape. In the evening/night you can look at the stars from the top of the tower ... a great experience for the children! 
• Outside you will find a covered terrace overlooking the pool in the distance and the vineyards. A wooden sundeck - with lounge beds, umbrellas, and sun chairs - surrounds the large square pool (with a depth of 1.20m) with bar service.
• In the evening, you can sit in a separate lounge area around a large fire, and occasionally, there is live music here.
• Finally, the estate features a Roman ruin that you can freely visit.

 Facilities @Torre de Palma 

• Restaurant: A young chef from Alentejo runs the fine restaurant Basilii, the gastronomic area of the hotel which can be found in the old house. Here, the rural Alentejo countryside is represented in a modern way; carefully selected vintage furniture and various wood structures contrast with whitewashed walls and a sleek concrete floor. The restaurant serves local dishes and uses ingredients from its vegetable garden. In the cafeteria, a buffet-style breakfast is served in person at your table.
• The hotel boasts many open communal areas with a beautiful design. Here you can pass time in an authentic setting. Try a glass of wine, read a book in the quiet piano room, watch television in the large TV room, and have a drink in the bar where you can also find a billiard table. 
• Spa: The hotel's Spa offers massages, treatments, and wellness activities in 30-minute and 60-minute sessions for which a reservation is required. Besides, the Spa is equipped with a hot tub and a Turkish bath. You will also find an indoor swimming pool with loungers. Access to the Spa is included in the price of the hotel room.
• Winery: The hotel has a traditional winery where you can learn every step of the wine production process such as selecting and harvesting the grapes and even stomping them with your feet! Apart from an extensive vineyard, there is also a room full of wine barrels and a tasting room which also hosts wine events. 
• Riding school: In the riding school, you can ride traditional Portuguese Lusitano horses and take lessons (for beginners and children). Children can also assist in caring and feeding the horses. A wonderful experience!
