Layout Trulli Maa | 100m2 | 6 persons
The villa comprises two interconnected Lamias (traditional structures with barrel roofs) and three Trullis (classic stone buildings with conical roofs) with a separate entrance. The three trulli form a connected space and are laid out as follows:
- First Trullo, which features a kitchen and dining area with a dining table from the local antique shop and a cozy bench with cushions. The space is divided by a cooking island, with the kitchen slightly elevated and fully equipped with essentials like stove, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, as well as an artistic mirror.
- The second Trullo serves as a connecting structure for the other two Trullis. Here you will find a snug area with a cast-iron stove, ideal for cozy evenings with a book.
- Through an archway you can enter the third Trullo, where you will find the master bedroom featuring a double bed (160cm x 200cm), bedside table, bench with hangers and a hand crafted stone sink. Adjecent is the en-suite bathroom with a unique walk in shower and WC.
Adjacent to the trulli, but with separate entrances, are the two lamias:
- The first and largest Lamia features a 3.6-meter high vaulted ceiling and a plush double bed (160cm x 200cm). The second Lamia is a little smaller, but shares the same features as the first one.
- Both lamias have ensuite bathrooms with WC, shower, items crafted by a local artisan, as well as round mirrors and resin walls.
- A corridor connects the lamias, featuring a tea counter for preparing warm drinks and a space for hanging clothes.
- Each of the Lamias has a private patio with an outdoor shower where you can take in the stunning view over the ancient olive groves.
Outdoor Area:
- The property is nestled within three hectares of olive groves, ensuring complete privacy and seclusion. Here you will also find many cacti, fig trees, and succulents.
- There is an infinity pool with an integrated bench for cooling off. Right beside it, you will also find sun beds and parasols to soak in the warm Italian sun, as well as another outdoor shower.
- A patio area with a BBQ, washing machine, stone sink, and a seating area for dinners and late night talks under the stars.
Extra information:
- There is underfloor heating all throughout the villa.
- Each bedroom features a metal bar lamp highlighting the unique vaulted ceiling structure.
- Behind the house runs a single track for a small regional train. From the house, you can see and hear the train. However, the noise is limited, as this train is small and consists of only 2-3 wagons.
