In the historic heart of the charming Tuscan village of Montisi, with a beautiful panoramic garden, is set Umberto 121. The owners, an Italian-Spanish family, decided to move from Barcelona to Tuscany to meticulously restore this original 14th-century building while preserving its authenticity and original architecture. Traces of the past were uncovered and historic elements were brought back to life: original doors, exposed beams, impressive 19th-century frescoes, and terrazzo floors from the 1930s. The impressive living and sleeping areas are filled with a harmonious fusion of antique furniture (purchased at local markets and antique shops), and timeless classics from Santa & Cole, alongside iconic designs from Artemide, Cassina, Kartell, and Mobles 114.

The house has five double rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, and communal areas with various rooms to relax and unwind: a spacious living with a library, an attractive study with a fireplace, and a bright dining room that connects to the fully furnished kitchen, both of which provide access to the garden. Here, under the pergola, you can enjoy al-fresco barbecue dinners and you will find plenty of spots in and out of the sun to enjoy the views over the village.

The owners offer extra services to enjoy the pleasures of Tuscany from cooking lessons, a private chef, and wine tastings to a truffle hunt or Vespa rental. In Montisi you can immerse in authentic village life visiting its small shops and local cafés for a cappuccino or aperitif, but it is also a perfect starting point for discovering the idyllic Val d'Orcia. Go hiking, cycling, horse riding, enjoy regional cuisine, or make excursions to Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, or the renowned art and culture cities of Siena and Florence.
