Videpot is an old farmhouse dating from 1862, situated in the Dordogne countryside, suitable for 4 + 1 people, embraced by orchards, meadows and woods. Owners Ralf and Bianca and their whole family have vacationed in the region for many years and in 2003 they had the opportunity to purchase their own holiday home there. Over the years they have transformed Videpot step by step into a wonderful place where you will feel at home! Due to its elevated location you have a complete view over the beautiful French countryside.

With 3000 m2 of private land, consisting of a large lawn, huge fig trees and lovely lounge spots, you will experience complete privacy and peace. It is a true paradise for children, because of the nice pool, the trampoline, the jeu de boules track and the large lawn, where they can run around on their own. Meanwhile you can lie in the Fatboy hammock or sit down with a glass of local wine in one of the many lounge areas, while the barbeque warms up to grill all kinds of delicacies. The long sultry summer evenings can't last long enough in this oasis of tranquillity. At any time of day, there is a spot in the sun or shade where you can sit back and relax.

On the inside you can relax by the fireplace on the couch in the cosy living room. You can take a good book out of the bookcase or put on one of the many DVDs. Videpot has a large and bright living kitchen with fun orange colour accents and a wood-burning stove, a place where you will gather to cook. The two bedrooms have comfortable beds (for 4 + 1 adults and another baby/toddler). For children there are several board games, books and a hd satellite TV, so they don't have to miss their favourite shows.

If you walk down the property you will pass the many fruit trees and the forest or go to the small lake behind the house where you can pick wild mint. For daily shopping you can go to the supermarket at 5 minutes driving distance in Beaumontois-en-Périgord, here you will also find some restaurants. The region is perfect for culture lovers, active travellers and those who love the good life! Tour along the small settlements, beautiful chateaus and impressive castles. For the kids there are water parks, climbing courses and mysterious caves. In the Dordogne, holidays seem to have been invented.
